Rabanne dared to express this idea with the help of perfume innovation. Before us in a blue bottle is the future of perfumery. The smell is enclosed in a vessel made of glass, metal and plastic. While developing the design of the bottle, the designer imagined a gesture that could certainly be pressed by a man. Squeezing the palm into a fist, pulling the trigger of the pistol is a movement that transmits an imperious physical effort. Therefore, the spray of the new bottle is probably twice as strong.

The new fragrance stands out among the men's perfumery for its frank sensuality. We are not used to the physical attractiveness of a man being so overtly emphasized. The fragrance has fruity and piney notes - but this is just a game of imagination. In fact, Ultraviolet Man is mint, oakmoss, vetiver and amber. The cool freshness of mint emphasizes the sensual vibes of amber. Vetiver is the epitome of a green meadow. The moss note gives the whole composition strength and energetic sound. Nothing brutal - but emphatically courageous.

The fragrance is so modern and divorced from the animalistic concept of power that many ladies who have previously tried the female version of Ultraviolet have liked it. Whether or not Rabanne sought to do just that remains a mystery. But commenting on the appearance of Ultraviolet Man, the designer did not fail to remind that the 21st century that has come recently will certainly be the era of women.
