We all make mistakes a lot when it comes to finances, but a lot of bad money moves are especially common in women.

1. Too much spending on clothes and shoes

Not that looking fashionable and stylish is not important. You can just look good on a small budget. If you think that if you don't spend huge sums on buying clothes, you will never be successful - you are making a huge mistake. You can invest money in your future much more efficiently.

2. Competition with girlfriends

Men also compete. But women do it differently. Men care about the cars they drive, and women focus on their home. Both are wrong, but such is human nature. It would be wiser to avoid unnecessary expenses, and not to start repairs just because a neighbor ordered some kind of miracle laminate.

3. Shopping for the sake of relaxation and "sale therapy"

Widespread among women, this "contagion" is destructive and can make you spend a huge amount of money in a matter of hours or, even worse, drive you into debt. Have you seen the movie "Shopaholic"? Not the best movie from an artistic point of view, but it perfectly shows how exciting shopping is and what problems it can lead to.

Many women have things in their wardrobes with uncut labels (I bought them and put them in the closets, so it is lying there, unnecessary), and some hide their purchases from their husbands. This is madness!

4. "Good behavior" at work

This is one of the most difficult mistakes to deal with. Studies show that women require less from their bosses than men, and as a result, they receive less. They are also less assertive when it comes to promotions. We women are less confident in ourselves and believe that we should behave "correctly", with restraint. It has been proven that co-workers also expect "good" behavior from a woman. Moreover, any out of the ordinary behavior on the part of women is perceived by them much worse than the same on the part of men. In other words, if a woman shows character, then she is an evil bitch, and if a man - he just has a tough character.

So what should women do? Try to do better. This will be the best solution. It is not easy, but the best way is to try to find a balance between achieving what you want softly, like a woman, and demanding what is necessary with a man's pressure. If I want a raise, why don't I just go to my boss and say: “I don't earn enough to support my family, I need a raise”?

In addition, there is an opinion, mistakenly shared by both bosses and women themselves, that the fairer sex is in second place in the list of family breadwinners. This can no longer remain a dogma, especially in our financially unstable days, when in a family both partners are usually earners.
