The State Duma today raises the question of abolishing all-Russian testing as a means of monitoring the knowledge of students in different classes of secondary schools. Therefore, the parents of fifth-graders are interested in when and how CDF will be carried out in the 5th grade in 2022, what subjects the children will take. Time spending

There is no definitive information yet on when the screening summaries will take place in the different grades of high school. The Ministry of Education and Rosobornadzor are constantly working to improve the effectiveness of such inspections, as a result of which adjustments are made to the methodology for carrying out the CDS.

Changes and amendments to the VLOOKUP are introduced under pressure from teachers and students' parents. They believe that such test methods should be excluded from school practice, since they do not give an objective picture of the level of training of students.

Although the latest news reports that the issue of abolishing the CDR was raised in the State Duma this year, there is no ready-made solution to this problem to date. Deputy of the State Duma Elena Strokova at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly made a proposal to abolish the CDR in Russian schools, which are held annually from March to May.

The negative assessment of such tests by teachers and parents of schoolchildren is due to the fact that the tests themselves are more like tests, take a lot of time from the curriculum and do not give the desired result.

Elena Strokova also sent an official letter to Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, in which she proposes to cancel the VPR in high school in the Russian Federation. The deputy pointed out that many State Duma deputies voted in favor of her proposal to completely abolish VPR in Russian schools, since these works do not fulfill the declared function of testing the knowledge of schoolchildren.

So far, there are no orders from the officials of the Ministry of Education and Rosobnadzoo, therefore, according to preliminary information, changes in the school curriculum are not expected next year.

In 2021, changes were made to the procedure for passing the CDF, which give schools more authority in choosing the day for conducting tests.

So, the exact date can be set by the management of the educational institution and the teachers' council in March-April, based on the situation in a particular school.

In 2021, the following changes were introduced to the procedure for conducting the final control work:

• for the first time, schools in Russia were given the opportunity to conduct VLOOKUP not on ministerial dates, but at a convenient time for them;
• it is recommended to carry out 2 verification works in the period from March 30 to April 10;
• the other two must be held on any days from 13 to 24 April;
• it is impossible to carry out two or more checking control works, not only in one day, but also in one week.

Thus, parents should check with the school administration at what time the final CDP in 5th grade will be held in 2022. Only the rules for choosing the VLOOKUP day have changed. The forms of assessment and the obligation to carry out tests to assess the degree of students' knowledge remained unchanged.

Subjects for which CDF will be carried out in 5th grades

The new rules, according to which the test papers were handed over this year, provide for their conduct in all grades of secondary school, except for elementary ones. There is no talk about abolishing CDF in the 5th grade next year.

As in 2021, fifth-graders will take VLOOKUP in 4 subjects:

• Russian language - from 13 to 24 April;
• mathematics - from 13 to 24 April;
• stories - from March 30 to April 10;
• biology - from March 30 to April 10.

Test work in these 4 subjects will be carried out in school classes on paper. Children can use only stationery and calculating devices during the CDF.

Assessment grades will not affect fourth and final grade marks on fifth grade report cards.

Why teachers and parents are against CDF

For several years now, teachers and parents have been pointing out that all-Russian tests are ineffective, do not give objective results in assessing students' knowledge and take a lot of time in the school year. Based on the results of the CDP, officials of the Ministry of Education draw up summary tables of the effectiveness of the work of educational institutions. For this reason, they do not want to cancel the VLOOKUP, as stated on the Rosobrnadzor website.

It is indicated that the new VLOOKUP schedule for 2022 has received preliminary approval. It can only be changed due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation in the country.

However, teachers and parents continue to write appeals to the legislature, and many State Duma deputies are already voicing the urgent problem of their voters at meetings of the State Duma. To date, two points of view on this problem have been formed among the deputies. Elena Strokova demands the complete abolition of the VLOOKUP, and Oleg Smolin proposes to freeze the conduct of such verification work and hold parliamentary hearings on this issue.

The position of Rosobrnadzor is that officials from education are ready to simplify the procedure for conducting an all-Russian test of the knowledge of Russian schoolchildren, but they are not going to completely cancel it.

There is no official timetable for VLOOKUP for grades 5 in 2022 yet. There is also no information that the all-Russian test work for fifth graders will be canceled in 2022.

Parents of fifth-graders who are interested in knowing when will be conducted in the 5th grade in 2022 and what subjects will be included in the list of tests will be interested in the following information:

1. There is no exact timetable for the VLT yet, since the Ministry of Education in 2021 made changes to the procedure, giving schools the right to independently appoint the time for examinations in subjects at the end of the school year.
2. It will be possible to clarify the exact date of the VLT in 2022 with the school administration, which chooses a convenient day within the period allocated by the Ministry of Education.
3. Officials from education do not intend to cancel the VPR, but State Duma deputies are already raising this issue at meetings of the State Duma, trying to find the best solutions to the problem.
4. In the 5th grade, students will have to write VLOOKUP in 4 subjects: Russian, mathematics, history and biology.
5. Grades received for written work will not affect grades for the quarter and for the year.
