The list of available locations is gradually growing, which cannot but please citizens who are going on vacation outside the Russian Federation. The list of countries where you can go includes:

  1. Turkey is a favorite destination for Russians. The country has officially announced the admission of foreign citizens from July 15 this year and the resumption of flights. However, there is no official response from the Ministry of Transport in Russia yet. A similar situation with tours - until they are sold. It just takes some time to get ready. Departure from Belarus without being tied to travel agencies is possible even now.
  2. Croatia. Borders for Russians have been open since July 14. Entertainment complexes, cafes and restaurants have already opened their doors. But not everyone will be able to visit the beaches of the Adriatic, a prerequisite is the presence of a multiple-entry Schengen visa.
  3. Belarus. You can safely pack your bags and go to a neighboring state for rest and treatment. There are many beautiful places and monuments, such as Belovezhskaya Pushcha or Nesvizh Castle. To travel around the republic, you do not need a passport, a Russian identity document is quite enough. Another good news is that the previously announced 14-day quarantine upon arrival has been canceled. Impatient Russians have already seized the opportunity, but Rospotrebnadzor called such tours unsafe.
  4. Maldives. Despite the fact that there were no official statements from the Ministry of Transport, it is possible to fly there today, provided that a paid hotel reservation is registered with the Ministry of Tourism of the host country. No coronavirus certificate is required, but leaving your hotel is prohibited.
  5. Serbia is another cozy place where you can get without a visa. Mandatory - the presence of a paid return ticket. Serbia is a part of Europe, therefore, from it you can go by plane to any country where there is no travel ban for tourists.
  6. Bulgaria. Only a certain category of citizens can go there. Namely: family members of persons with Bulgarian citizenship, with a residence permit, diplomats and employees involved in transport. Most of the resorts are already open, but there is no talk of a complete lifting of all restrictions. The reason is an elementary precaution in order to prevent a repetition of the spring scenario. To enter, tourists need a Bulgarian or open Schengen visa.

Countries promising to open borders soon:

  • Cuba;
  • Dominican Republic;
  • Mexico;
  • UAE.

Despite the existing theoretical possibility of going abroad, our compatriots are afraid to leave the country. Some prefer to stay at home, others opt for domestic resorts.

Turkey, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Maldives, Croatia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates are already ready to receive foreign guests, including from Russia. But the Russian Federation will not resume air traffic immediately, but in stages.

First of all, with those countries where the morbidity threshold does not exceed 40 per 100,000 population. The Greek Visa Application Center is the only one where, presumably, Schengen visas will be opened from August 1.

The situation with the pandemic has made some adjustments to the usual way of life of citizens. In the field of recreation, there were also some innovations.

Those who are going to go on a trip outside their country must take a certificate of a negative coronavirus test two days before the scheduled flight. A document issued in English will have to be presented at the border.

Roman Skory, President of the National Tourist Union, emphasized: “The validity period of the medical document is 47 or 72 hours according to the European standard. Whether it is necessary to have any special permits - all this will be decided individually with each separate country."

It is possible that in the absence of a medical document on the absence of a disease, an express test will be done directly at the airport or tourists will be sent to a two-week quarantine. Moscow and Ankara already have an agreement to resume flights. The exact date has not yet been announced - this was reported by the Ministry of Transport of Turkey.

Vladimir Popov (air expert and honored pilot of Russia) explained that this is due to the need for sanitary and epidemiological measures (treatment of the cabin and crew) for each flight. With the optimistic development of events, regular flights are expected from 1 or 15 August, depending on the preparation.

Those wishing to go on vacation abroad in September 2020 are already concerned about the question of where they can freely fly from Russia. Some, taking advantage of the relaxation and lifting of restrictive measures, have already left the Russian Federation in transit through Belarus, which is open to other countries.

And not by plane, but by car. Since in this case it is not possible to fully track the movement. According to experts, it is more expedient to open their airports as soon as possible.

Tour operators warn: you should not wait for a decrease in prices for overseas tours. So far, there are 8 allowed countries on the list. But over time, the geography will expand. Spain and Italy are next in line to open.

However, according to experts, rest for Russians in the previous regime will not be available until autumn. This summer, many will have to be content with trips to domestic resorts.

Regardless of the choice of the place to stay, precautions will apply everywhere. Basically, this is the observance of distance, the rules of personal hygiene, as well as wearing masks and gloves in crowded places.
