Correspondent: Good day! What is your name and what company do you represent?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: My name is Tatiana Yurievna Kirillovskaya. I am the founder of the Beautydrugs brand and company.

Correspondent: What services does your company provide?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: The Beautydrugs company is engaged in the production and sale of cosmetic and perfumery products.

Correspondent: When did you start your business?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: The idea to found his own company came in 1992. In the same year, I founded the first independent perfumery boutique in Russia, which has grown into one of the first distribution companies in the beauty industry.

We were one of the first in Russia to start distributing beauty brands. Thanks to the distribution of the Anastasia Beverly Hills brand, we launched the Brow Bar format in Russia.

In 2009, the iconic perfumery space was opened in Tsvetnoy Department Store on the 4th floor, where unique brands of selective perfumery, produced in limited editions in several boutiques around the world, were presented.

Then they contributed to the popularization of Korean cosmetics in the Russian space, having established supplies from Korea since 2013.

In 2015, the registration of the Beautydrugs brand was completed.

Correspondent: What achievements can your organization boast of?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: After the founding of the company, we introduced our first products to the market: hydrogel eye patches, hyaluronic serum and snail eye cream. The products instantly conquered the market and became the most consistently sold product in recent years, with sales reaching 100 thousand pieces.

World-class show business stars and popular makeup artists choose our brand based on experience and personal preference.

Correspondent: What is the secret of your company's success?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: The main secret is a lot of professional experience. We have been working in this field for almost 30 years, we know the needs of the domestic and foreign market and love our business.

Correspondent: How did you get the idea to create your brainchild?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: During my work on various projects, I managed to accumulate knowledge about the cosmetic and perfumery preferences of consumers. I chose not to organize my brand in order to cater to the needs that customers really want.

Correspondent: What difficulties did you encounter at the beginning of the journey?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: At first it seemed that everything should go according to a clearly drawn up plan. But unscrupulous contractors intervened in the plans. Our Chinese partners produced a batch of low-quality packaging. Because of this, we had to make adjustments to the sales volumes. Large network competitors who prefer to fight unfairly are also strongly influenced.

Correspondent: How did your first success come to you?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: If we talk about Beautydrugs, the first success came almost immediately after the launch of the product. The first batch of eye patches sold 5,000 pieces. This is a huge amount for new products in the first months of operation.

I consider the first years of work in the field of beauty to be my personal success. During the first 6 years, until 1998, my perfume and cosmetics boutique held the undisputed leadership in popularity in the south of Russia, in Krasnodar.

Correspondent: Tell us more about your plans

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: Currently, the Beautydrugs brand is launching a campaign among its customers to support physicians who receive facial injuries from masks and other protective equipment. The movement will provide gratuitous aid with products to restore the health and beauty of medical workers.

Correspondent: What should people who buy Beautydrugs brand products know about you?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: Our company is the longest running company on the Russian market, 29 years old. No other Russian company can boast such a long life. It seems to me that this is a definite proof that we still understand the beauty industry and have the correct understanding of what needs to be produced.

Correspondent: What does a person need to know about you to inspire them to buy?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: We try to strike a balance between price and quality.

We have a very bright purple packaging with a green frog - this is a very memorable image.

An interesting and working brand name, which also draws attention to itself.

The guarantee and quality of the manufacturer who makes his products for us.

A huge amount of laudatory reviews that are absolutely not paid for.

This is a large set of characteristics that still disposes people to us. During these years we have managed to build an international distribution, therefore, fortunately, we do not depend only on the opinion of the Russian consumer. That is, reviews and advertisements are done to us in different countries.

Correspondent: Where else is the Beautydrugs brand represented?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: At the moment, unfortunately, we are represented only in Europe, mainly in Eastern Europe. Even in our troubled days, I continue to receive offers from other countries: Oman, Canada, Vietnam, Slovakia today wants to sign an agreement with us. We are gradually expanding. We even have Mongolia at launch in the future.

Correspondent: What is the most popular product - patches? Why exactly he, how did everyone love him, how was he created?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: Several years before the appearance of our own patches, we began to actively develop the Korean beauty industry in Russia. We began to instill fashion in Korean cosmetics and experimented well in selling patches of other brands.

After gathering experience from selling products from Korean brands, we decided what the ideal patches should be. And they did not lose, because until now, given the high competition in the market, our customers use the products of the Beautydrugs brand.

Correspondent: What's missing in your portfolio right now? What to expect in the near future in the sale of your line?

Tatiana Kirillovskaya: We are missing the classic lipsticks in the stick, we are missing the contouring / bronzing, we are missing the mascara very much. This is a very big problem, because we claim that every product is the best on the market, but we cannot yet boast of mascara samples. There are specimens superior to us.
