The Moscow City Duma is going to pass a resolution restricting the right of musicians to use a phonogram. Those who begin to declare live performances and sing "to the veneer" are going to be fined. Recently, show business figures and politicians discussed this law together. We came to the conclusion that the document is still far from perfect.

Each artist has his own opinion about the phonogram law.

They go to a popular performer to see a show, extravaganza, a holiday, this is show business! Well, they will sign everything below in eighth font - "phonogram is used", well, then what? Personally, I am not at all worried about this, this measure will change little."

Iosif Prigogine believes that it is necessary to fight against phonograms. And that a new law is needed: “I am for the purity of the genre. Education is given for this to be dear to professionals. I support this law. If you want to sing to a phonogram - sing, but don't fool people, write: "We sing to a phonogram." But the injustice is different: some give all the best and sing, and some then have to call the doctors, because the vocal cords are a delicate instrument, while others just go on stage."

There is also an opinion that fighting phonograms is an empty, meaningless exercise. “To be honest, I think that the fight against phonogram is futile, because it affects the pockets of producers,” says Armen Grigoryan. - It is easier for any musician to go on tour with a tape recorder and make a cash register using a phonogram. And almost all of our show business is built on this. Therefore, the fight is hopeless, just like the fight against piracy. Of course, it is worth writing on every poster that the concert will be accompanied by a phonogram."
