On November 11, 2004, the long-awaited Russian premiere of the brilliant film Head in the Clouds, directed by John Deegan, who has already received prizes for his work, will take place, starring two of the most beautiful women of our time - Charles Theron (Charlize Theron) and Penelope Cruz. Stuart Townsend became a partner in the film of these beauties.

The melodrama "Head in the Clouds" again raises the theme of love and war, unusual relationships in an unusual time and human destinies against the backdrop of a global cataclysm. The picture is somewhat similar in posing the problem to the "Dreamers" by Bernardo Bertolucci, only instead of two boys and a girl, two women and a man are involved in it.

The action of the picture takes place in the 30s of the last century. The world was expectantly quiet between the two wars: the Nazis came to power in Germany; Spain is agitated by General Franco's mutiny; tense vibes of anxiety float in the air … Paris, 1930 thrives, becoming a haven of great talents, artists and painters. Englishwoman Gilda (Theron) lives her own life, rich and intense, diverse and vibrant, her career as a photographer is going uphill. Gilda rents an apartment in Paris with the Irish teacher Guy and Mia (Cruz), an immigrant from Spain who shares bed and leisure with them. The latter, meanwhile, join the anti-fascists, and the paths of the three friends diverge …

In general, the film makes a very strong impression and so engages in the atmosphere of belonging that it cannot leave you indifferent … The picture is bright, beautiful, delicate, it is simply unforgivable not to see it!
