I am a very happy person. I have a wonderful husband, wonderful children, a favorite job and all the other components of cloudless happiness. But this was not always the case. When I wondered where I got so much happiness, I realized that it is directly proportional to the amount of money in my life.

Of course, everyone has their own idea of what happiness is, but many will agree that this cocktail requires ingredients such as love, health, friendship … It is believed that these concepts (unlike any others) cannot be bought for money. And I think that it is quite possible. Of course, there is no store where the exact amount of health or friends would be measured for you at a certain price. But a lot of money and a lot of happiness do not at all exclude each other, but very much even complement each other.

Once, in my youth, I had almost no means of subsistence. And there was still no health, no love, no friends. Then I tried to find joy in "alternative categories": a blade of grass, a ray of the sun, a smile of a child in the park, in the fact that at least I am still alive. But I always knew that someday I would have a lot of money, and, accordingly, real happiness.

Love like a dream

But when I was 20, guys for some reason shied away from me. My hopes that they could love me for a rich inner world did not come true. And was he rich then, my inner world, if I was thinking mostly about where to get money for a piece of bread?

And once fate still turned to me with a monetary side - I suddenly turned out to be the heiress of a "house in the country", small and poorly adapted for life, but for me then it was just an unreal happiness. And just as money goes to money, the prince immediately came to the house. True, then he was still without a horse, but the fact that he was a real prince could be determined by unearthly beauty, remarkable intelligence and boundless kindness. At that time there was no talk of love or money, but it was not necessary to think every day where to spend the night.

And money … Money gradually came.

And here's the strange thing: the further we improved our well-being, the more our relationship became like love.

Constant thoughts about where to find the ruble in order to live until Monday, very much prevent people from thinking high. And when this ceased to be the main problem, we realized that we love each other like no one else in this world.

You cannot understand - you do not have a cold

They say that money cannot buy health. But how can a malnourished person be healthy? Can you be healthy when you are wearing leaky boots in winter? And now I can afford a healthy diet, not overworking two jobs, not experiencing stress, that is, to be rich and healthy, and not poor and sick.

Maybe I was just lucky, unlike my younger brother, who fell ill with tuberculosis from a hopeless past life. But I know that he will receive the most expensive treatment, the best spas, the opportunity not to think about work, and after he recovers, he will be no different from other people. And I don’t want to think about what could have been without money.

Don't have a hundred rubles, but have a hundred friends

I understand my friends - it is easy for them with me, because I never complain about life, I do not ask for a loan, you can always go somewhere with me. I have a cozy, hospitable home, there are always different goodies and the latest CDs.

Of course, they are not materialistic. We love and respect each other very much. We are happy to meet to watch a new film with Yevgeny Mironov or listen to the new disc of "Aquarium" over a glass of expensive red wine.

I think the opinion that a poor person can be more educated and well-read is somewhat exaggerated. Firstly, he is not up to self-improvement, he is rather busy with survival. I never had the opportunity to read a book before.

I do not want to get to know my friends in trouble - after all, if my friends passed the test "in happiness", then I can definitely rely on them.

Do you want to be happy - be happy

Yes, it’s happiness for me that I can not look at the price tags in the supermarket and not think painfully in my mind whether there is enough money; I can go to the theater for a trendy performance; I can transfer a certain amount of money to the orphanage without calling the local TV channel to cover the event, and much more.

I never learned how to spend more than I earn. I can say with confidence - I am a rich man, because rich is not the one who has a lot, but the one who needs little.

And the worn-down proverb "happiness is not in money" absolutely does not mean that happiness is in their absence. And she is right - happiness is not in money, but in her own feelings in this world. After all, money is not an end, but a means. This is energy, not dirty papers. Energy for which everything that is needed for happiness is exchanged.
