You are not just a woman driving, but a driver and a road user, and any violation of the rules can lead to administrative or criminal liability. On one of my first miserable trips, I gave my sister a ride with a breeze and, slowing down, proudly asked: "Well, how?" She replied, "Great! It's a pity that you can't talk …" But it was really impossible to talk, because concentration at the wheel was achieved only at the cost of complete silence. At first, it's best not to be distracted by conversations or music. Otherwise, you will start dancing and at the same time press the gas pedal …

The relationship with the authorities turned out to be unexpected. When my friend was stopped for the first time, excuse the expression, you gibberish, she did not have a power of attorney for the car. The representative of the authorities offered to leave the car at the checkpoint and go to get the documents, but the girl tried to explain that she had a session, that she was now driving home from work, and the child was at home with a nanny, and there was no way to rush to get the document and back. "Do I look like a car thief?" she asked at the end of the conversation. The young man felt embarrassed, he released the offender in peace. Familiar men still do not believe in the reality of this story. And yet, in the morning, do not forget to shift the insurance policy and documents for the car into your duty bag.

When the brushes finally started working, I experienced a feeling of terrible discomfort. The brushes moved along the windshield and made it difficult to concentrate on the road. All the time I wanted to look only into the space between them. Therefore, I had to move my head a little to the right and then to the left. It was especially uncomfortable when it was raining heavily and the brushes were moving quickly … It's good that this addiction passed pretty quickly. Remember that when it starts raining, the road gets covered with film and becomes very slippery. You must immediately slow down (with the accelerator pedal, not the brake) to prevent the car from being carried over. On a wet road, do not get carried away with high speed: it can be life-threatening.

Do not expect favors from nature - winter has come and a long time of ice has come. You can ride on "autumn" tires for some time - when it is still summer on two wheels, and winter on two wheels. But it is safer to immediately "change" the car and tune in to the new "seasonal" speed mode. ABS helps only those who follow the report of the Hydrometeorological Center and monitor the situation with "frostbitten" roads. Motorway exits are especially slippery. Believe me, the feeling is not pleasant when the brake pedal is on the floor, and the naughty car keeps rolling and rolling forward … Do not forget that there are two lanes of traffic on the territory adjacent to the houses, and, driving through the yard, you often find yourself on oncoming. This can be important in the event that at some turn the car is carried on a slippery road, and you collect cars parked in the yard.

Some people don't see well at dusk

This is the so-called "night blindness", which often affects women. The unpleasant feature is somewhat compensated by a more developed angle of view than in men. However, this does not help in the dark. Many are finally convinced that they suffer from an ailment with a bird name just when they start driving a car. You can, of course, make a sticker on the glass with the image of dark glasses, which means "Blind behind the wheel!" Probably, this is effective, but I don't want to frighten others. In general, various stickers with the image of a woman's shoe, the letters "U" act exactly the opposite of their purpose - they begin to overtake and cut you. In short, they drive over and show who is the boss. The only sticker that evokes an adequate reaction is the symbol "Children in the cabin", you better not get carried away with the rest.

We drive often in a car with a child, and children are capable of doing such things that they periodically have to turn around 180 degrees. This is very distracting from the road. And the car, at first, along with the turn of the head, changes the lane. Take some toys and sweets on the trip, this will help keep your child busy for a while. But the most important thing is not to forget to lock the doors and know for sure that the child will not fall out of the car on the move. The rest is fixable. This is what concerns their children.

Other people's children are also completely unpredictable. They have an amazing ability to fly into the roadway at such a speed that you think it's just a mirage. They have everything for this - rollers, skates, greats. Always be vigilant, but especially in the areas adjacent to the yard.

Be polite on the road - this is a guarantee of your safety and a positive example for the ignorant. Respect pedestrians and remember the golden rule: the pedestrian is always right. Slow down, letting passengers of the bus or young mothers with strollers pass, - you will feel the gratitude of people, and everyone will have a slightly better mood.

A few more tips for beginners: Re-lane behind the truck only after you see the parking lights. Trucks or road trains are sometimes unexpectedly long: they have a second carriage. If you are driving next to tram tracks, do not forget that the tram is much wider than the rails on which it travels. It's better to drive with the headlights on - this psychologically affects the one who wanted to slip in front of you. In addition, there is no need to keep track of the time of day and getting into the tunnel.
