Experts from the Gallup research group came to an interesting conclusion. It turns out the level of education, and even happiness, depends to a certain extent on a person's height. The higher, the happier.
Focusing on the average American, Gallup claims that a person who is 178 centimeters tall is about 15% happier than someone who falls short of the standard. Most American men who give their life the most unsatisfactory mark are 1, 9 centimeters below the average US citizen.
According to experts, taller people are more likely to show satisfaction with life: their positive emotions prevail over negative ones, and they even complain of physical pain much less often.
It is interesting, however, that the most unhappy, according to the survey, were far from the lowest people. For men, the critical point of unhappiness transferred to height turned out to be 176 cm, for women - 163 cm.
Tall women are also happier than those who are below them, but to a lesser extent: the "critical gap" from the norm is at the level of 1.27 cm, NEWSru.com reports with reference to Washprofile.org.
High growth is even able to compensate for the lack of money. A person's happiness level rises “with every additional inch” (2.54 centimeters), by the same amount as a 4% increase in family income increases it.
Growth also predicts the likelihood that a person will receive a good education and earn good money. As it turns out, US residents who failed to graduate were, on average, 2.54 centimeters shorter than the average American and nearly five centimeters shorter than an American who graduated. For women, this gap is slightly smaller, the researchers note.

From the height of my heels
And so I stand in a shoe store and almost cry. Can't choose shoes. I try on beautiful shoes with a round toe and golden embroidery, with high heels, in a retro style that is fashionable today. I take them off. Trying on others - pretty cute low-heeled shoes. I also take pictures of them. A saleswoman with the intelligent face of a demoted professor quotes Dior to me: "It's all about the shoe - there are heels on which the legs rest." I listen to her and I can’t make a decision as if it’s not a choice
