In Russia, in 2022, exams in all subjects will be held as usual. To draw up a training plan, schoolchildren need to study the timetable for the exam. This will help to distribute the load and focus on those items that are necessary for admission.

What changes should be expected

In Russia, the topic of amending the number of USE exams is raised annually. Eleventh graders and their parents are interested in whether final certification in new compulsory subjects will be added to the schedule in 2022. Recently, the Ministry of Education has discussed the idea of making the following exams necessary:

  • basic English;
  • "History of Russia".

The Ministry of Education started talking about the compulsory examination in the subject "History of Russia" when the percentage of those wishing to take the Unified State Exam became 23%. This is a fairly large share, which indicates the need for knowledge in the field of history for admission to many universities. However, most of the future graduates and their parents were not pleased with the news about the possibility of introducing the list of compulsory exams in Russian history.

A number of teachers are also of the opinion that the Russian history exam is not needed as a compulsory exam. This will reduce the rate of successful passing of the Unified State Exam in Russia.

If the exam in English is introduced as a mandatory one, then it will be divided into 2 levels of difficulty:

  • basic, intended for all graduates;
  • profile - for delivery by eleventh graders who need a foreign language for admission.

Judging by the latest news, neither one nor the second subject will be introduced as mandatory in 2022. It is not possible to test history and English at the same time. For the first few years, questions and problems will arise that need to be promptly addressed.

Also, the Ministry of Education announced the refusal to introduce new compulsory subjects after this news was negatively perceived on the Web.

Future graduates will pass the exam better

During the first year of the introduction of the Federal State Educational Standard, future eleventh graders studied in the 5th grade. Consequently, they have been influenced by educational standards. This contributed to an improved and thorough preparation for the exam.

Unified State Exam Schedule in 2022

The USE schedule, which will be held in Russia in 2022, is still unknown in all subjects. The exact dates of the exams will appear a little later. Now schoolchildren can only focus on the timing of the stages of the final certification:

  • preliminary - from late March to mid-April;
  • main - from late May to mid-June;
  • additional - early September.

It must be remembered that in order to obtain admission to exams, graduates will need not only to be certified in all subjects, but also need to write a final essay.

Before the arrival of the coronavirus in Russia, eleventh graders started writing an essay in December of the previous year. Due to the pandemic, the date of the stage, which is admission to the main period of the exam, was postponed. How the essay will take place in 2022 is unknown.

In 2021, the admission exam was scheduled for mid-April. Also, additional days for writing an essay were introduced without fail. The period was allocated from 5 to 19 May.

These days could write an exam:

  • eleventh graders who did not pass the essay during the main period due to an unsatisfactory grade;
  • Students who have missed the day of writing an essay for a good reason.

In case of missing the admission exam for a good reason, the student will need to document this.

If during the main day of writing the essay, the student was absent because he had a planned hospitalization, or he was admitted to the hospital with acute pain, then it will be enough to provide a certificate or extract confirming the student's stay in a medical institution. The participation of the eleventh grader in the international Olympiad is also a good reason. After graduation, the graduate will receive a certificate indicating the dates of the child's stay at the venue.

Similar reasons are valid for passing the USE ahead of schedule. If it is already known that on the main dates the child will be routinely hospitalized or will go to the Olympiad, you can write an application to solve the tasks of the final certification in March-April. The application will be approved after the submission of documents confirming the child's stay in another place during the main stage of the exam.

Alternative spelling of the exam

The innovation appeared in 2021. FIPI has decided to apply this option for passing the exam by 2022. For eleventh graders who will not study at the university, it will be enough to pass the GVE.

GVE includes 2 subjects:

  • Russian language;
  • mathematics.

To obtain a certificate, it will be enough to pass the threshold in the submitted subjects.

After passing the GVE, the child has the opportunity to go to college. They will be admitted to the educational institution on a competitive basis. As a passing score, the average attestation mark will be taken into account.

If the eleventh grader does not pass the GVE exams, then he will have the opportunity to solve the tasks of the final certification anew. This can be done on additional days, when the USE is retaken. Preliminarily, the retake period is scheduled for early September.

Outcomes

In 2022, the USE exams will be held in Russia as usual. The exact timetable for the subjects is unknown. The Ministry of Education said that major changes in the USE should not be expected. The milestones were set for periods similar to the previous year.

According to preliminary data, for admission to the final certification, the bulk of schoolchildren will write an essay in mid-April. Also, for 11-graders who are not going to enter the university after leaving school, the opportunity to write a GVE will again be available. This type of certification includes 2 exams: in the Russian language and in mathematics.
