Waldorf technique

Rudolf Steiner, the founder of this method, had his own view of the development of children. He believed that childhood is a special period and children should remain young as long as possible. And the goal of parents and caregivers is to help them enjoy their wonderful age.

The goal of parents and caregivers is to help children enjoy their wonderful age.

According to this pedagogy, a child's life takes place in a special family environment, favorable for the development of the child's inner world. Everything here is filled with natural materials that energize and give impetus to imagination: self-woven carpets, plank floors, tables and chairs, knitted gnomes, homemade rag dolls, straw bulls and wooden horses.

Purpose of the Waldorf Method - development of natural abilities in every child and strengthening of self-confidence, knowledge of folk culture and creativity, spiritual development. But not education and transfer of knowledge …

Kuisener's method

George Kuisener is a Belgian elementary school teacher who has created universal didactic material for the development of mathematical abilities in children. And in 1952 he wrote a book about his textbook "Numbers and Colors".

Cuisener's sticks - This is a set of counting tetrahedral sticks of 10 different colors and lengths from 1 to 10 cm. The author conceived so that sticks of the same length and color represent a certain number. Its numerical value depends on the length of the stick.

At the initial stage of classes, children simply play with sticks and during the game they get to know the shapes, sizes and colors.

At the second stage, children are already studying the world of mathematics with the help of sticks. The concepts of the composition of a number, numerical sequence, relations "right - left", "more - less", "longer", "higher", "between" and many others are being formed.

Kuizener sticks are intended for children from 1 to 7 years old.

Gienesh Method

Hungarian psychologist and mathematician Zoltan Dienes has developed logic blocks, games with which introduce children to the initial concepts of mathematics and computer science.

Gyenesh Blocks is a set of 48 geometric shapes, each of them is distinguished by four features: shape, color, size, thickness:

  • 4 shapes (squares, rectangles, triangles and circles);
  • 3 colors (blue, yellow and red shapes);
  • 2 sizes (large and small figures);
  • 2 types of thickness (thin and thick shapes).

There are no identical shapes in the set of blocks.

Classes with Dienes blocks are suitable for children from 3 years old and contribute to:

  • Introducing children to geometric shapes, the shape of objects, size;
  • Development of thinking skills: compare, analyze, classify, generalize, abstract, encode and decode information;
  • Mastering the elementary skills of the algorithmic culture of thinking;
  • Development of cognitive processes of perception, memory, attention, imagination;
  • Development of creativity.

Zheleznov's technique

"Music with Mom" - this is also the name of the program of early musical development, the authors of which are the father and daughter of the Zheleznovs.

Music lessons turn into a fun educational game that even the smallest students can understand.

The uniqueness of the methodology lies in the playful presentation of educational material, its complex nature, accessibility and practicality of use. Music lessons turn into a fun educational game that even the smallest students can understand.

The Zheleznovs themselves come up with musical exercises, funny songs and arrange folk nursery rhymes. The authors have released many audio and video discs that are popular all over the world.

Principles of the method:

  1. Parental participation in the lesson is recognized as necessary and important, the forms of participation should be creative and varied.
  2. Music becomes clearer and more interesting for children precisely through movement. Therefore, the basis of musical activity for children from one year old and older should be dancing, gesture, outdoor games and playing music, etc.
  3. It is necessary to use phonograms in the work, since without them the teacher does not have the opportunity to participate in games and dances, actively help children, while playing a musical instrument. Thanks to phonograms, parents get the opportunity to develop and entertain kids not only in the classroom, but also at home.
  4. The criterion for creating sound materials and tasks should be their tradition, as well as the interest and pleasure of children.
  5. Music should be either classical, but at the same time bright and imaginative, or modern dance music, but really good.
  6. Early acquaintance with the musical keyboard and playing the lightest songs with singing is nevertheless recognized, although unconventional, but useful and interesting for kids from 2-3 years old.

Voskobovich's technique

Vyacheslav Voskobovich's games are puzzles and constructors with a fabulous plot. The author has also developed aids for the study of numbers, letters and reading.

The most popular games and tutorials:

  • Geocont
  • Voskobovich square
  • Miracle crosses
  • Ship "Splash-Splash"
  • Funny letters
  • Teremki Voskobovich
  • Math baskets
  • Letter constructor
  • The Magic Eight
  • Warehouses

These games are multifunctional and are suitable for children from 2 to 10 years old.

Objectives of classes with Voskobovich's game materials:

  • The development of a child's cognitive interest and research activities;
  • Development of observation, imagination, memory, attention, thinking and creativity;
  • Harmonious development of emotional-figurative and logical principles in children;
  • Formation of basic ideas about the world around, mathematical concepts, sound-letter phenomena;
  • The development of fine motor skills.

Of course, there are many other decent early development strategies. However, each parent chooses for himself how to raise and develop his child. Therefore, finally, 3 tips from "Cleo":

  1. Listen to the abilities and needs of your particular baby.
  2. Approach the child's development process creatively, boldly combine methods and do not hesitate to get involved in the game.
  3. Do not go to extremes and do not deprive the child of his childhood, devoting too much time to classes.
