The famous theater and film actor Oleg Menshikov will try himself in a completely new role. Today, within the framework of the Chereshnevy Les festival, the debut performance of the orchestra, created under the strict guidance of the artist, will take place. As Menshikov admitted to journalists, he calls his brainchild "a dream come true."

“Dreams must come true,” Menshikov told RIA Novosti. “Otherwise, they can go to another, but this cannot be allowed, we must resist, return and implement our plans.”

Oleg Evgenievich created a brass brass band, whose musicians not only play musical instruments, but put on a real show. According to the artist, music in the theater has always been important to him, and he tried to bring elements of theatricality to his orchestra. It will be a singing and dancing orchestra unusual for the domestic audience - a format that is very popular on Western venues.

Also, Oleg Menshikov and his "Musical Association" on May 21 for the first time will hold a jazz marathon "Jazz in the open air". The venue for the concert is the capital's Hermitage Garden.

According to the creator's idea, the musical group will adhere to democratic relations with the audience, but observe academic rigor while performing classical works.

The orchestra's program includes works by Mussorgsky, Ravel, songs by Utesov, music by Nino Rota, Ray Charles. His first performance will take place in the demonstration hall of GUM, where another Chereshnevy Les event is currently taking place - the Folk Art of the Russian North exhibition.

Next season, the orchestra plans to present the "Merry Fellows" program based on tunes from the 1930s and songs from Utesov's repertoire, for which singing dramatic artists will be invited, and an original independent program.
