The berries are poured with boiling water only twice, and this will be quite enough. With the onset of winter, such a bright, tasty and aromatic drink, prepared according to a simple recipe with a photo, will remind you of the past summer.

It is very easy to cook a fragrant strawberry compote. A little sugar is added to the drink, since ripe berries themselves are very sweet. The finished drink is even more beneficial than the classic strawberry jam.

- 200 grams of granulated sugar;
- water.
Preparation:
- Prepare the can for preservation in advance, clean it with baking soda and wash under the tap.

- Rinse ripe berries under running water, remove all the stalks, then put them in a colander and dry a little. Fill the jar with fruits about 1/3, cover with granulated sugar on top.
Pour boiled water into a jar of strawberries. Put a towel on the bottom of the sterilization container, and place a jar with compote on top
- Cover with a metal lid, press down with something on top. Sterilize the workpieces for about 30 minutes.
- At the very end of the sterilization process, the berries should float to the surface of the liquid. Carefully take out the jars and seal with iron lids. Turn all the blanks upside down, cover with a warm blanket and wait until they cool completely.
