Soon, soon Easter will come, and this year even earlier than usual. It's time to get ready. And if everything is clear with baking Easter cakes (recipes that have been tested over the years will be used), then the question of festive decor hangs in the air again. I would like something new and original so that the holidays of different years do not merge into a monotonous mass during memories.
Looking for fresh ideas! Let's go in search? It's time to find out what know-how is popular in 2017.
Natural fabrics and natural materials are still in fashion. The Internet is replete with master classes on transforming all kinds of twigs, leaves and sticks into fashionable decorative elements. And a minimum of effort is required. Often, a lesson is not needed, everything is clear from the picture. As, for example, in the case of a decoration made from an egg box. Well, what is there to disassemble step by step?
All you need is: a wooden block and a paper box, a few twigs, feathers, shells, candles, flowers, pieces of string and … fantasy!
So it is with the option of table decor, involving the use of ordinary glass jars, straws, plants and quail eggs.
Everything is extremely simple. And there can be a lot of variations. You can play with the height, width of the containers, the color of the background, the shape and the number of elements - add something, remove something. This is what these ideas are good for - no one limits the expression of will. There is only a general idea, but how to use it - everyone decides for himself.
Decorative pendants can be made in the same way. The only difference is that instead of glass jars, you will need to use tea cups.
The filling is practically the same: straws, flowers, leaves, eggs. Supplement - knitted napkins laid on the bottom. But again, we repeat: material combinations can be any. It all depends on the artistic taste of the creator. Well, and on the availability of natural elements, of course.
New - this year, like never before, burlap is in favor. It is not used only by the lazy. However, this is understandable: minimal manipulations allow you to turn this rough fabric into spectacular-looking jewelry.
The simplest example is making an Easter garland. You will need: unpainted burlap of frequent weaving, white water-based paint, twine, pieces of fur or cotton wool. The fabric is cut into triangles, a silhouette of a hare (or any other symbol associated with the holiday) is drawn inside each, after which the finished flags are strung on a string one after another. Pieces of fur are used as tails.
The same technique can be used to make a slider (or track) for a holiday table. The example again mentions rabbits, but the stencil can be any other. It is more convenient to paint the desired sector by placing paper under the burlap. Pom-pom tails are glued after the paint dries. By the way, you can dissolve the edges of the slider a little if you need a fringe.
Another option for decorating the table is cutlery envelopes. Here you don't even have to paint anything. It is enough to compose your own floristic composition and attach it to the envelope sewn from burlap.
Well, what is Easter without dyeing eggs? The trend is vegetation. But if you are too lazy to mess around, trying to accurately reproduce numerous leaves and twigs, then there is a way to reduce time costs to almost zero. You just have to sacrifice a nylon sock.
The technique is simple: choose a leaf or flower that is suitable in shape and size, apply it to the egg, fixing it with a sock (put it inside), then immerse everything in the dye composition, wait, take it out, disassemble - a trace of the plant will remain on the shell.
By the way, if food colors produced on an industrial scale do not inspire confidence in you, you can use natural ones:
- If you want yellow, turmeric will do.
- Green is spinach.
- Terracotta - onion peel.
- Blue is red cabbage.
- Pink is beetroot.
- Beige - oak bark.
Just do not forget to add vinegar to the broth, as a fixative.
Although … our grandmothers still knew how to paint eggs. Something new! Here you go. How about markers? Black, indelible … sounds wild? Believe me, the proposal to use them for drawing is scary only at first. It is enough to look at the final result to appreciate all the advantages of this method.
This decorating technique can also be used to make unusual serving items. Instead of banal napkin rings, use decorative braid with eggshells strung on it, which act as tips for seating.
However, even unpainted eggshells can be an excellent decorative element. Only they need to be collected in sufficient quantities in advance. What pleases me is that you do not need to be sophisticated, carefully draining the white and yolk through small holes. It is enough to wash, dry and store the halves every time you cook eggs. And it doesn't matter how they broke - shells with uneven edges only look better.
The next option for using unpainted shells will require a lot of effort. To divide them into parts anyhow, alas, will not work. The lower halves should turn into miniature vases. Where will they stand? Nowhere. They will hang! Windows are decorated in this unusual way. The shells without "lids" are hung on ribbons, then water is poured into them, and then flowers are inserted. Voila, the house has changed!
Enough of the eggs. Let's go back to the rabbits. What can you do? The Easter theme assumes the obligatory use of either one or the other symbol - such traditions. Shouldn't we break them?
How about holiday wreaths? They are in vogue in the West, due to the large number of homeowners, but not so popular here. After all, they need to be hung outside, on the front door … and it is difficult for us with this - that and look, someone will bite.
But someone has to break stereotypes? Let's add positive and faith in people? Those who want to take the risk can make a wreath from the simplest and most affordable materials. It will look gorgeous, despite the minimal cost.
You will need: well-bendable twigs, pieces of paper twine, an armful of grass or straw, a few carrots, branches with green leaves and … a printout with a rabbit head. Putting everything together as in the picture - one, two and a funny decorative element for the doors is ready!
Don't want to weave a wreath, but like the very idea of decorating front doors? There is an option for you too. You just need to find an old umbrella and convert it into a flowerpot for spring flowers. The composition can be supplemented with homemade nests with Easter eggs. Bright, unusual, simple!
Well, if you celebrate Easter in a country house, then you can use an old watering can for the same purposes. It will look no less impressive, and easier to implement.
Finally, an idea for a gift to friends and family - an egg with a surprise prediction. Everyone is familiar with the Chinese counterpart, which is a pie with a wish hidden inside it. The principle is the same here. An empty eggshell becomes the only receptacle for the note.
- Step one and two - make a small hole in the egg, drain the contents.
- Step three and four - paint the shell, write a wish on a thin paper tape.
- Step five and six - fold the prediction into a tube, push it inside the shell through the hole, then put the egg in the box.
- Step Seven - Inscribe the address and apply a stamp, styling a gift box for a postage.
- Step eight …
But the last action must be taken by the addressee! Agree, anyone is pleased to receive such a surprise. The efforts of the donors will be appreciated, and the holiday will be continued within the walls of another house. A wonderful idea in the spirit of a bright Easter Sunday.
And on this positive note, we end our review. The arsenal of ideas has been replenished - it's up to implementation. Be creative by decorating your home with handmade things. And let each Easter celebration be unique!

Welcome. Dear guests?
Why, in fact, do people go to visit each other? Make some noise, overeat, get drunk, forgetting completely about extra calories and oath promises: not a drop more in your mouth … And that's it? It’s kind of a weird thing to do - eating a lot of food together. Is not it? There is something primal about this. Invite all relatives after a successful hunt to your cave for a roast of mammoth
Hello, we are your guests
Daddy gives out on-the-mountain all the set of profanity in stock of mankind … and then he walks in his wide family shorts to open the door. At the same time, the tipsy friends outside the door expect that it will be me who will open the door for them. And, as soon as the lock turns in the door, they start yelling: "Hey, pepper, why are you sleeping there? Move your stumps … Oh, hello, and Sasha is at home, we came here to ask notes on the method …"
The most famous foreign guests of the Moscow Film Festival
On August 3, 1959, the first International Film Festival opened in Moscow. To be more precise, the festival resumed after a break, changing its name from Soviet to Moscow. MIFF is one of the oldest in the world and is a class "A" festival (only film premieres participate in the competition). Today in the history of the festival there are a lot of bright moments, and one of its main highlights is the arrival of foreign stars
