Every year new generations honor the memory of the Great Victory. Someone participates in parades and processions, gives concerts and congratulates veterans, others, the smallest, make memorable gifts. These wonderful crafts for May 9 can be done with your own hands in kindergarten, school or at home in the kitchen.

Real tank

Children often make crafts on May 9 with their own hands in kindergarten, so they are taught from childhood to be proud of their ancestors and honor veterans. One of the most common handmade paper souvenirs is the tank, which is easy to make using this step-by-step guide.

We need:

  • 3 sheets of beige or green paper;
  • 1 sheet of cardboard;
  • foil or silvery corrugated paper;
  • adhesive tape;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • black paint;
  • ruler;
  • pencil;
  • cocktail tubes.

Operating procedure:

With paper sticky tape, we connect three rolls of toilet paper in a row. Departing from the edge by 2 cm on each side, apply a strip with black paint. We try to avoid gaps and streaks, we do everything very carefully

  • On top of the tape we put a layer of plain paper - beige or green, and fasten the edges with glue.
  • Cut out two strips 3-4 cm wide from silver corrugation or foil. Glue them in places with black paint, symbolizing caterpillars.

  • Cut out the details for the tank tower from a sheet of cardboard. We glue the rectangular piece, wrap it in paper, base colors and glue it to the top of the craft at the location of the tank tower.
  • Cut the tube to the length of the cannon barrel and wrap it in the same paper. We glue it to the tank turret, as shown in the example. The very tip can also be wrapped in silver paper.

We glue the decor - a red star or an inscription on the side of the tower "Happy Victory Day!"

Such a tank can be made with a child in kindergarten or at home to make a memorable gift for your heroes.

The eternal flame is a simple option

The simplest craft for May 9, which children 4-5 years old in kindergarten can do with their own hands, is an application. Every child loves to tinker with colored paper and scissors, and then glue small, colored fragments into an album, under the careful guidance of an adult.

Image

We need:

  • ready-made pattern or star pattern;
  • ruler;
  • pencil;
  • scissors;
  • a sheet of cardboard in gold color;
  • toothpick;
  • glue;
  • red paper or napkin.
Image
Image

Operating procedure:

We transfer the drawing of a five-pointed star to the cardboard, be sure to mark the edges with a dotted line - the places of the folds. Cut out a clear outline with scissors

Image
Image

Bend the part along the outlined lines to make a real, three-dimensional star

Image
Image
  • Use a toothpick to make a hole in the center.
  • Cut out a small square from a red napkin, fold it in half diagonally.
Image
Image

Using a toothpick, push the corner of the red "flame" into the hole and fix the paper with glue on the back side. We spread our fire to make it look more natural

It's so easy to make one of the main symbols of Victory with a child. It is not a shame to send such a craft to an exhibition of children's works or to present to a veteran at a parade.

Gift from mp3 disc and St. George's tape

From scrap materials and seemingly unnecessary things, you can make a craft for May 9 in the form of a bouquet of carnations on a disk with your own hands.

We need:

colored paper - red and green;

  • compact disc;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • George Ribbon;
  • red cardboard.
Image
Image

Operating procedure:

From red colored paper we cut out a small five-pointed star and long ribbons, 3-4 cm wide. Moreover, the longer they are, the more magnificent the buds of carnations will turn out

Image
Image

Prepare stems and leaves for flowers from green paper

On one long side of the red ribbons we make frequent cuts, leaving an area of 1-1.5 cm intact. We twist the ribbons into rolls so that we get smooth buds from one edge and fluffy from the other. The kid can just start turning the strips of paper into beautiful carnations

  • Cut off a narrow strip of green paper and fix the buds at the base so that they do not bloom.
  • We cut the St. George tape into two identical halves, glue it to the disk.
  • Next, we beautifully place the prepared stems on the plastic surface.
Image
Image
  • Next, glue the flowers onto the disk, combining them with the stems. We press pretty well with our finger so that they do not firmly sit in their places.
  • We glue the leaves to the carnations.
  • We bend the star slightly at the edges to give it a natural volume. We glue it so as to close the cuts of the St. George ribbons and the base of the stems.

At the initial stage, the disc can be pasted over with colored paper or foil to make the craft look even more impressive.

Holiday flowers

Giving a bouquet to veterans is the least that children can do on May 9. It is especially touching if these flowers are made by hand in kindergarten. This kind of craft can be done with a 3-4 year old child.

Image
Image

We need:

  • 7 decorative velveteen twigs;
  • 7 disposable cupcake tins;
  • colored pencils or markers;
  • ball pen.

Operating procedure:

We prepare the materials necessary to create a small masterpiece. If you can find colorful, beautiful cupcake molds, you can leave them in their original form. Otherwise, it is better to paint them in advance in the desired color with felt-tip pens or pencils. This work can be entrusted to the guys

Image
Image

Using a pen or pencil, make a hole in the middle of each mold

Image
Image
  • We insert fluffy wire into each decorative bud and twist the ends into knots so that they do not slip through the holes.
  • We collect the finished flowers in a bouquet and tie the stems with one of the twigs.

The craft is ready. If you wish, you can decorate it with a lush bow or make a wrapper out of beautiful gift paper.

Eternal flame - large composition

Another do-it-yourself version of the "Eternal Flame", which can be prepared for May 9 in kindergarten in the senior group.

We need:

  • a cardboard box for chocolates;
  • colored paper;
  • glue;
  • blue wire;
  • paper muffin cups;
  • full-length photograph of a soldier.
Image

Operating procedure:

We prepare templates for five-pointed stars of different sizes. We circle them on the back of thick cardboard, preferably gold or silver. We collect from them a pyramid - from a larger star to a smaller one

Image
Image
Image
Image

Glue the candy box with red paper. We do everything carefully so that there are no gaps and ugly folds. We make the hinged cover silver if desired

Image
Image

Cut out flames of red, yellow and orange colors from corrugated or plain colored paper. You can make the fire the same as in the example, or come up with your own composition. We glue the blank on the pyramid of stars

Image
Image
Image
Image

From strips of cardboard we cut out pedestals and arches for the guard post. We place pictures of soldiers in full growth

Image
Image

On the red pedestal, you can "lay" paper flowers made according to the previous master class from "shaggy" wire and disposable cupcake molds

This craft will definitely take a prize at the exhibition of children's works in a kindergarten dedicated to Victory Day.

Brooch

As a gift or festive decor, you can make a beautiful brooch for May 9 with your own hands. Such a craft will be within the power of children in the senior group of kindergarten or younger students.

We need:

  • glue gun;
  • ruler;
  • scissors;
  • George Ribbon;
  • lighter or candle;
  • tweezers;
  • decor.
Image
Image

Operating procedure:

Cut 5 identical fragments of 7 cm from the long St. George ribbon, from which we will assemble our brooch

Image
Image

Fold one piece in half, fold the bottom edge up and process it with a lighter or candle flame to secure it. It is also necessary to do this so that the cut edge does not fluff, because then the brooch may unravel or lose its neat appearance

Image

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
  • We repeat the same procedure four more times to obtain five petals.
  • We measure out another 20 cm of the St. George ribbon and cut out beautiful corners along its edges. We process it carefully with a lighter so as not to melt the edges too much.
Image
Image

Fold the tape crosswise, as in the example above. We glue the ends so that the workpiece does not straighten

Image
Image

Sew on a pin from the wrong side or put a ready-made brooch fastener on hot glue

Image
Image

On the front side of the brooch, we collect a flower from the prepared petals, fasten them with hot glue and decorate the center with a bead

Such a brooch can be presented to a veteran or to decorate your outfit for a parade or a festive concert.

Photo frame

To stand out from a number of models of the "Eternal Flame" and models of military equipment at the exhibition of children's works on May 9, you can make a thematic photo frame with your own hands.

This is not only a great craft made in the senior group of the kindergarten, but also an opportunity to show your friends a photo of your family war hero - grandfather or grandmother.

We need:

  • 3 sheets of colored cardboard - red, blue and black;
  • colored double-sided paper;
  • knitting needle;
  • glue;
  • ruler;
  • duct tape;
  • pencil.
Image

Operating procedure:

  1. On blue cardboard we outline the outline of the frame for the selected photo of the veteran. Dimensions must match the picture. The ideal dimensions are 21x16 cm, with a width of 3.5 cm.
  2. Cut out a four-pointed star from red double-sided cardboard, about 5x5 cm in size.
  3. We prepare another star from orange cardboard, 1 cm wider and longer than the red one.
  4. We make the first blank of the star volumetric, bending it in the places of the ribs. We glue it on top of a flat, orange star, and then attach the element to the long edge of the photo frame.
  5. To create the St. George ribbon, cut out a wide strip of black color and two or three thin stripes of orange color. We glue them on top, parallel to the long side.
  6. We also cut out long thin strips from yellow double-sided paper, in the amount of 14 pieces. We wind each on a knitting needle into rolls and slightly flatten it with our fingers. This is how the petals are obtained using the quilling technique. We glue them to the frame on both sides of the star.
  7. Place the decorative St. George ribbon on the photo frame, as shown in the example.
  8. Place the hero's photo in a frame and carefully fix it with transparent adhesive tape on the back side.

When sending a craft to an exhibition, be sure to indicate the name of the hero to whom it is dedicated.
