It seems that the answer lies on the surface: rich are either born, or work long and hard to make a decent fortune. Of course, all this is partly true, but not every hard worker is capable of becoming a millionaire.

The fact is that a lot depends on a person's thinking, on who he sees himself as rich or poor. Let's figure out what the psychology of wealth is and what you should never do if you want to be in the same party with the Rockefellers.

What is the difference between the rich and the poor?

No, not the state of the bank account, although this too, but the main difference lies in thinking. Rich (or potentially rich) and poor people have different attitudes not only to the world of money, but to the world in general. You will be surprised to learn that some of your attitudes, so firmly entrenched in your head, do not allow you to find a new high-paying job or invest in a profitable business and finally become what you dream of becoming.

1. Obstacles. Poor people tend to see obstacles in front of them and give up without even trying to overcome them. The rich, on the other hand, treat obstacles philosophically - since there are problems, then they can be solved. The goal is what attracts a rich or potentially wealthy person.

2. Help. Poor people are everywhere looking for help and support. Moreover, not only financially, but also emotionally. They are accustomed to the role of the victim and do not even think about changing their role.

The rich try to help others. With a kind deed, in a word, with money - they feel in themselves the strength to make someone else happy.

3. Shopping. Shopping for a poor person is a real disaster. And not at all because after going to the store he will have to starve. No, sometimes "poor" people objectively do not need anything. Just buying a new thing, they are not happy with the purchase, but are upset because they gave the money to the seller. The rich man, on the other hand, enjoys the buying process, looks forward to putting on a new thing and rolling mountains in it.

4. Earnings. Poor people believe that money is hard to come by. The very idea of earning money reminds them of hard labor: you have to get up at 7 in the morning, come to work by 8, work where no one appreciates you, and get pennies for it. A rich person sincerely believes that money itself goes into his hands. And what is surprising - the way it is. Either a friend will return a forgotten debt, or a salary will be raised.

5. Prosperity. Poor people consider wealth to be something unattainable, fantastic, the lot of a few. And the rich really look at things and understand that everyone can achieve financial well-being, there are no chosen ones in this matter, there are only those who believe in their success and stubbornly pursue their goals.

6. Goals. Poor people live paycheck to paycheck spending what they earn in a month. They don't even think that with their modest income they can set big goals for themselves (for example, think about buying an apartment or a car), much less achieve them. The rich, on the other hand, will look for every opportunity to make their plans a reality, even if their salaries are still far from what they want.

7. Speech. In the speech of a poor person, one often clicks “I am not worthy”, “I cannot”, “this is not for me”, “I cannot afford it”. A rich person does not frame himself. His self-esteem simply does not allow himself to be given up on.

Think Like a Rich Man

In order to bring yourself closer to your cherished goal, you need to imagine that you have already achieved it. Just do not think that we are talking about the first million or a villa in the Canary Islands, everyone has their own idea of wealth. For some, an indicator of well-being is a new job with a decent salary, for some, a trip abroad and rest in a three-star hotel will be enough, and some will be delighted with the purchase of a new gadget. Understand what wealth represents for you here and now, and imagine that everything has already happened: a job is found, a ticket is purchased, a brand new gadget is in your pocket.

Have you presented? Now return to the "now", keeping the mood of a successful person. How does he behave? Does he complain about life? Does he think that "everything is bought and nowhere to break through"? No, everything is much simpler with him.

You say: “Well, okay - I pretended to be rich, but in fact it is not so. Why play these games? And just in order to make the game a reality. Everything is very simple: successful and rich people therefore achieve even greater success and wealth, because they do not waste their time on complaints and worries about their own failure. They focus on achieving goals and eventually achieve them. So, maybe you should at least pretend to be rich in order to become so later?

On a note

An interesting fact - two years ago, employees from the University of Work conducted a study that showed that people whose childhood was happy earn much more than others. At the same time, almost all of their parents were not rich. More than 90 thousand children took part in the study. Many years later, experts analyzed the level of income of adults and came to the conclusion that those who were happy in childhood are more financially wealthy. Scientists also noted that happy people work much more productively and move up the career ladder faster than their pessimistic counterparts.
