However, not only the illness of Dion herself forced her to leave her musical career for a while. The fact is that the husband and manager of the singer René Angelil underwent surgery to remove a malignant tumor in December and now also has health problems. The singer decided that at the moment she should devote all her efforts to the treatment of her beloved spouse and spend more time with their children - 13-year-old Rene-Charles and 3-year-old twins Eddie and Nelson.

Celine Dion began her career as a teenager. Dion became a star in the French-speaking world by her future husband Rene Angelil, who mortgaged his house to finance her first recording. Already in 1990, the 22-year-old singer released her first English-language album, Unison. Dion gained worldwide fame in 1988, having won the Eurovision Song Contest, where she represented Switzerland.
