“We see that the weather is warm and sunny. Everything is green around: beautiful birches and lush grass. This is what catches the eye when looking at the painting "Summer". It seems that the artist loves nature very much and treats it with awe. Everything looks real, as if we ourselves can enjoy the sunlight in the clearing.

We see three characters: a girl, a grandmother and a dog. Apparently, they got into the forest to harvest there, but decided to rest on the way back. The grandmother, dressed in a blue dress and a headscarf, is asleep. She covers her face with her palm so that the sun does not interfere. By her appearance, you can say that she is very hardworking and strong.

The granddaughter removes the berries from the branch and puts them in a mug. She is focused on her work, which can be seen in her face. The girl is wearing a beautiful white dress and a bright red scarf.

Next to the small family was a dog - she lay down to sleep beside the girl. The dog is very cute and funny. I think the girl is very fond of the animal.

Also in the picture you can see the harvest gathered by the grandmother and granddaughter: mushrooms and berries. The artist allocated a lot of space for them on the canvas. It's amazing how generous nature is!

While writing the essay, I had thoughts about how wonderful the life of ordinary people can be. We often ignore what nature gives us, but happiness is in the little things. It is very pleasant to go with loved ones to the forest and pick mushrooms and berries there. The dog looks very emaciated, probably, it had to run after the mistresses for several hours. The girl also looks a little tired, although she is very passionate about her work.

The warm sun and beautiful nature help to relax. In the shade of the trees, you can gain strength and cool down. It seems to me that Plastov loved his homeland very much. He depicted the beauty of nature in this place in such detail that one really wants to be there too."

Short version

There are tasks when you need to write a short essay. In this case, it is important to highlight only the main thing in the picture in order to get a high assessment.

“Arkady Plastov in his painting“Summer”was able to convey all the beauty and special atmosphere of this time of year. It gives us not only pleasant weather, but also a big harvest.

The artist made the central characters of his creation a woman and a girl who went into the forest for mushrooms. Before returning home, they relax on a soft grass carpet and enjoy the good weather. Birches bent over them to give shade. The woman and the girl gathered two baskets of mushrooms, so they were very tired. The first decided to get some sleep, and the second is sorting out the berries.

Let's consider another variation of the composition based on Plastov's painting "Summer" for the 5th grade. Let's try to reflect on what the heroines did, describe how the author wrote the forest during this warm season.

I see in the picture two mushroom pickers who are very tired and decided to relax a little on a picturesque meadow in the forest. I think it's mom and daughter. They had to get up early in order to have time to pick mushrooms and berries, and on the way back they took a break so that they had enough strength to get home.

Both heroines did a great job: we see baskets filled to the brim with mushrooms. The woman sleeps, covering herself from the sun with her hand. Apparently, she is hard-working and is not afraid of hard work. By the side of the girl lies a dog who accompanied the family in the forest. He, too, sleeps, tired of following the hostesses.

The girl does not sleep, but she does not pester her mother and pet either. She calmly sorts the berries and puts them in a mug so that there is less work at home.

It seems to me that the day was warm and sunny. Both heroines are lightly dressed, and their heads are covered with scarves - they protect from heatstroke and annoying forest insects. I wonder why the girl decided to wear a red scarf? Probably, her mother asked her about it in order to see the fidget from afar.

I really like the way Plastov painted the forest. Grass and flowers cover the earth with a dense carpet. We also see two white birch trees covering the heroines with a shadow. The branches of the trees bend straight down to the ground.

I think the village is very close, because there is a sawn stump next to the birches. Soon the girl's mother will wake up, they will again take the gifts of nature and head home to get to work."

Writing an essay on a painting is not that difficult if you use the examples above. The easiest way is to make a plan for yourself that you can rely on. But for some students it is easier and without it - it is better to navigate the situation.
