The trial on the claim of the mother of the singer Zhanna Friske Olga Vladimirovna has ended. In July, the lady filed a lawsuit against the Life.ru portal, accusing the publication of information discrediting honor and dignity. The woman demanded moral compensation in the amount of 21 million rubles. However, the claim was denied.
On the eve, the Savelovsky court of Moscow announced the decision in the case of Olga Vladimirovna. The court completely rejected the claims, while only the operative part of the decision was read out, so the reasons for the decision are not known.
The reason for the litigation was the publication of April 27, 2016 under the title "Lawyer: Friske's mother may receive a suspended sentence for fraud." In the article, the vice-president of the National Chamber of Experts, Mikhail Tsivin, argued that Olga Vladimirovna could face a sentence for fraud.
“Olga Vladimirovna did not withdraw funds from the account, we have documents confirming this. This article caused her moral harm, because of which she began to have health problems, "- said the lady's representative at the trial. The defendant, in turn, stated that the information in the article was misunderstood. “The material was based on an interview with Mikhail Tsivin. There are no statements in it, only opinions and assumptions."
Recall that at the beginning of the year, Rusfond filed a complaint with the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation with a statement of embezzlement of 20,890,831 rubles collected for the treatment of Zhanna Friske. The journalists managed to find out that shortly before Jeanne's death, on the basis of a power of attorney issued by her daughter, Olga Vladimirovna transferred money from the star's accounts to her own.
