The artist also added that she did it on the recommendation of doctors. The star apologized to her fans "for an unexpected turn of events" on social networks. According to her, performances usually bring her pleasure, and she would never cancel them. As Madonna assured, after treatment, she plans to resume her solo tour.
At the same time, the singer did not specify what pains still bother her. But, earlier she wrote about problems with a torn ligament and pain in the knee.
Note, the concerts have been canceled at the moment without changing the date. According to the promoter company, this happened due to Madonna's busy schedule. All money spent on tickets will be returned to the audience.
A few days before the cancellation of the concerts, the vocalist wrote in her microblog that she was following the advice of doctors and was taking ice baths. They were prescribed to her by doctors after an injury on stage in Los Angeles.
