The renowned TV presenter Yuri Nikolaev celebrates today, December 16, his 60th anniversary. The birthday boy is happy to prepare for the celebration, to which more than 300 guests are invited, and tells the press about his creative plans. Now the TV presenter is thinking over a new project and is not averse to resuming the "Morning Star" program.

Yuri Nikolaev has worked on domestic television for over 35 years. His programs "Morning Mail" and "Morning Star" gathered millions of TV audiences on weekends. Today the TV presenter is full of grandiose plans and is not even averse to giving his most beloved brainchild - the Morning Star program - a second life.

According to Nikolaev, he does not know the algorithm of how to become a professional TV presenter. According to him, a real TV presenter must have a quick reaction, charm, desire and ability to communicate, without preaching to the audience. As an example, Nikolaev cited Ivan Urgant and Alexander Tsekalo.

“When I started this program, I thought that it would last two or three years, and it existed for more than 12 years,” Nikolaev told RIA Novosti, noting that this project made famous such musical stars as Yulia Nachalova, Valeria, Vlad Topalov, Sergey Lazarev.

Nikolaev stressed that the "Morning Star" went beyond the purely television project, giving rise to similar children's music competitions in many countries of the former Soviet Union. “Until now, when I go there, they ask me where the Morning Star is,” said the TV presenter. According to him, he is ready to resume this project, but in a slightly different format.

Of course, Nikolaev also has new projects, but he prefers not to talk about them: “Until I see my program on the TV program, I will not talk about it. I'm afraid to jinx it. I can only say one thing: my project has nothing to do with politics and talk shows. But there will definitely be music."
