Install water meters

Installing a meter will allow you to pay significantly less and save additional money by following simple rules.

Check the plumbing

Turn off the water while brushing your teeth. You can rinse your mouth with water poured into a glass. Also, do not leave the tap open while shaving.

Only switch on the washing machine when it is fully loaded. Keep in mind that front-loading machines use two to three times less water than vertical ones.

There is no need to wash the plates under running water, it is better to clean it of food debris, collect it in the sink, close the drain with a plug and fill it with water with the addition of detergent. All dishes are washed in the same water, and then rinsed in a separate bowl.

Use water efficiently

If you have your own plot, then you can use rain or melt water on the farm, collecting it from the gutters into barrels. For example, this water can be used to water plants, wash floors, or flush in the toilet.

The water can be reused. Collect it while washing fruits or vegetables, and then water your houseplants or mop the floors.

You can save a lot by using a water heater rather than using hot water. In this case, it is better to purchase a device with a storage tank than an instantaneous water heater.
