On December 4, on the stage of Crocus City Hall, Anton Belyaev and Therr Maitz will present a unique concert program accompanied by a string orchestra. Musicians of the best orchestras were engaged from London especially for the performance in Moscow. Conductor Sally Gerber will run the show this evening (she has collaborated with Robbie Williams, Peter Gabriel, Zero 7, Bad For Lashes, Radiohead, Ellbow, Muse).
The guys from Therr Maitz have been rehearsing with the London musicians on a daily basis for the past two months via Skype. The orchestra includes leading UK session musicians who have taken part in the recording of soundtracks of many Hollywood films, including: "007: Skyfall Coordinates" and "Casino Royale", "The Beginning", "The Lord of the Rings", "The Hunger Games", "Gravity", "Tron: Legacy". They also recorded with many artists including Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Radiohead and Florence & the Machine. Many of them are part of the leading British orchestras.
The program included not only the famous hits of Therr Maitz (including Feeling Good Tonight, Make It Last, Stop Quiet and See you), but also covers that everyone loved. The main intrigue is that the musicians are preparing new arrangements especially for the acoustic concert.
A special event will be the premiere of the song Robots, the performance of which has long been eagerly awaited by the band's fans, and which will be heard for the first time at this concert.
Therr Maitz is an independent, fashionable and up-to-date Russian ensemble, whose popularity is steadily growing every day.
Live communication with the audience will be another big surprise for the Moscow concert. Anton Belyaev is the frontman of the group: “These are songs that we enjoy playing ourselves. During such concerts, we are naughty, we communicate with the audience. Such a nice interactive story."
