Music is the voice of life. The singing of birds, the voices of animals, and other natural sounds resonate in the human soul. The impact of the world of sounds on a person is really enormous: music even before the birth of a child can affect the development of both his intellectual potential and his physical abilities.

If you look at the history of the development of music, you will find that people in all corners of the planet have used music since ancient times not only for aesthetic pleasure, but also for treatment: music can raise or lower the level of hormones in the blood and help cope with stress. In the Far East and India, this technique has received the widest development. In Africa and America, Aboriginal people have long used musical instruments to slow or speed up their heartbeat.

That is why, when you are expecting a baby, you need to consider some points. Yes, the child, being in the mother's womb, perceives the sound of her body, but, for example, to Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, the child reacts with body movements, accelerating the heartbeat … Imagine, you influence the very soul of your child by listening to certain music!

Indeed, this is a very sensitive topic. How many tragedies happened due to the inattentive attitude of the expectant mother to what kind of music she chooses! Recently I heard a story about a girl who went to a rock concert. She was six or seven months pregnant. The girl is quite conscientious, did not drink any alcoholic beverages, generally led a healthy lifestyle, and at the concert she stood on the sidelines. Then she said that the child kicked very hard, but she did not immediately pay attention to it. She had a premature birth, although it would seem that there were no prerequisites.

In general, you can understand how music heard by a child before birth affects his life, according to his abilities.

Many studies have proven that music heard before birth accelerates the development of a child and helps to cope with some problems.

If a mother at the twenty-eighth - thirty-sixth weeks of pregnancy listened to music, her child begins to react faster to sounds, to recognize melodies faster than others. In such children, memory is generally better developed.

But, of course, the impact of music on a child's development does not end there. You've probably noticed that young children are very fond of music: they begin to sing along and often dance. Music can control a child's mood. In addition, scientists have proven that the more information a child's brain receives at an early age, the more developed it will be. Music education contributes to both the development of analytical thinking and the formation of trusting relationships in the family: the "common rhythms" of music are similar to the "common language", that is, people listening to the same music understand each other more easily. This, again, is explained by certain frequencies and vibrations to which the human brain reacts.

Your baby is growing, developing, his needs are changing, and you understand that it's time to send him to kindergarten. Yes, today there are few good kindergartens where I would like to send my child. But, nevertheless, the need for this often arises. Of course, the defining and most important point here is the teacher: what is she like, how she behaves with children, and so on. But it is also very important to choose the right upbringing methodology that is used in a particular garden. Scientists have found that early forcible teaching of children in various sciences (reading and counting, for example) has a bad effect on their further development. There are a number of upbringing-education systems that allow you to painlessly teach a child all the necessary wisdom.

These are such systems as anthroposophical, "humanistic pedagogy", M. Montessori's Children's Home, the views of E. I. Tikheeva and the techniques used in some private kindergartens.

The main advantage of these systems is that here, by engaging the child with interesting games, they contribute to his spiritual and mental development. One of the main points is the introduction of children to music: they are taught to perceive and listen to it. They learn to play, for example, the flute, violin, piano, or any other instrument. In some systems (for example, in the anthroposophic one), a course of eurythmy is taken. It can be stage, medical and pedagogical. The whole point here is that eurythmy teaches self-expression: a child, to music or a fairy tale, expresses what he heard with movements. Of course, there are schools with an individual approach, but psychologists recommend sending a child to a regular school, where he will learn life, and not be exposed to the "greenhouse effect": if musical education is already inherent in the child, he will more easily find a common language with other children and with the world in general.

At one time, when I was teaching in a circle, six-year-old children came to me, who were brought in to simply communicate with their peers. It was a section of aikido, where children of this age are taught exclusively elementary coordination and given some kind of physical training. I noticed that those guys who studied music or those who listen to it every day really grasped new information much faster and were more easily oriented in space. Probably, you also noticed that people who were engaged in any dances differ not only in a beautiful gait and good posture: they somehow exist in the world much more organically.

You might argue that not all children have hearing, many have other abilities that should be developed, and not wasted time on fruitless exercises in music. This is true. But any contact with music is beneficial. In addition, certain music also fosters taste: a person listening to jazz will never dress like someone who loves rock and roll. Music is also a social circle. When you choose music, your child, listening to it, will think that this is the “right” music, will look for other people who love the same music, because this is what mom listens to! This tendency in most cases is subconscious, and when a child reaches a transitional age, it seems that he turns everything upside down, destroys everything that you have been building for so many years.

But this is only a feeling: if you correctly understand the child, accept his changes and try to direct his aspirations, then very soon he will turn into a beautiful butterfly that will delight both you and the whole world.

Speaking of the transitional age, it is impossible not to mention the change in the choice of music. You probably remember how your parents did not understand your hobbies for "new musical trends." But it was a certain time, a certain rhythm, in which the whole planet and you were spinning with it.

Yes, of course, the very foundations of a person are laid at an early age. That is why it is very important that parents are especially attentive to their baby in the seemingly small things. The sounds that he hears, the relationships that he sees, are deposited in his subconscious and affect his future.
