The order was presented to the designer by the French Ambassador to Russia Jean de Gliniasty. According to him, France sets itself the task of being a temple of fashion, and Yudashkin's personal contribution to the fashion industry is highly valued by the French side.

The Legion of Honor, a national order established by Napoleon Bonaparte two hundred years ago, is awarded for outstanding military or civilian service. At various times, the award was presented to Maya Plisetskaya, Nikita Mikhalkov, Salma Hayek, Joanne Rowling and other artists.

“You started working with France back in 1991, when you first organized a show in Paris. And since then, you have been constantly strengthening the connection between France and Russia by organizing joint projects. In 1996, you were admitted to the Syndicate of Haute Couture in Paris, and this moment became decisive in your life, since you were the first Russian couturier in the Syndicate, the ambassador noted.

By the way, at the last fashion week in Paris, Yudashkin presented another impressive collection. Models paraded the catwalk in extravagant ball gowns and costumes trimmed with semi-precious stones. In the finale of the show, the winner of the Miss World 2008 title Ksenia Sukhinova appeared on the podium. “I feel like a queen, I try to perform at all beauty contests only in dresses from Valentine. Valentine's dresses are, of course, only victorious dresses,”said the beauty.
