Celebrity couple Amal and George Clooney, known for their philanthropy, have donated a million dollars to fight racism and inequality. The stars, who recently became parents, never passed by injustice and tried to make the world a better place.
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) recently partnered with the Clooney Justice Foundation. And George made a statement in this regard: "Amal and I want to add our voice and financial assistance to the ongoing struggle for equality." The actor added that "hate and bigotry cannot have other meanings."
The actor stressed that a common effort is required in order to confront the hatred. "We are delighted to support the SPLC in its efforts to prevent violent extremism in the United States."
Celebrities have previously donated a huge amount to help Syrian children.
