Anton Bogdanov, known to viewers as Antokha from the TV series "Real Boys", successfully debuted as a director. In his painting "Danya" we are talking about a real person who found himself in a difficult life situation.
The main character of the picture is a friend of Anton Bogdanov, Daniil Safin. The former boxer, following a debt of honor, helped girls who were molested by drunken young people. The result of the street showdown was the guy's disability. According to doctors' forecasts, the young man has no chance of recovery and return to his former life. His mother does not lose her enthusiasm, she daily helps her son overcome pain and learn to live anew.
Anton Bogdanov shot the picture with practically no budget. The tape did not come out in wide distribution, but it was appreciated at its true worth. The film was nominated and awarded a prize at the Lampa international festival. The event took place in 2017, and in June 2018 it was decided to demonstrate the tape at the UN headquarters.
Bogdanov himself came to the screening of the picture. According to him, everything went well, the representatives of the UN delegation after watching the tape were satisfied and showed their admiration.
Some of the subscribers condemned Bogdanov, believing that he decided to promote himself on the difficult fate of a friend. Anton himself does not react to such attacks, realizing the importance of the problem he raised.
