Following the dream
Following the dream

How many times have you heard or told someone yourself that you must definitely follow your dream, make it a reality?

Some believe that this is the only true purpose of a person.

Others believe that dreams should remain dreams, because a person dreams only in order not to go crazy from the hardships of everyday life.

History itself can teach you many lessons and examples, proving the first, second, and even third case. Throughout the life of mankind, indeed, you can find many cases when a seemingly simple person managed to achieve what he dreamed of since childhood. And the one on whom high hopes were pinned spent his whole life in search of the Blue Bird, which was supposed to make his wishes come true.

Is it even possible to make your dream come true?

The question, you must admit, is not an easy one.

Before taking a step, your subconscious mind sends a signal to your brain, saying:"

But it all started with an elementary inner urge. And, in other words, from desire.

Is it different with dreams?

What do you dream about?

Remember what you thought about in childhood before going to bed, what pictures you imagined, what made you sigh in sweet anticipation, thinking: "Someday I will definitely …"?

As we age, we forget about our dreams. The world is so arranged that there are more difficulties and problems in life. This is its beauty. The fact is that any road is not at all lined with yellow bricks and does not creep along the plain, but wanders among dense forests and ravines, turning from a wide asphalt overpass with clear markings into a barely noticeable thread-path, completely overgrown with thorns and covered with muddy puddles. And a rare person will not think, standing on this path, but is it not better to always stay on the overpasses, even if changing the direction of the path?

But any road is created in order to lead the traveler from one place to another. And where in the end will be the one who simply wanders along the roads, changing one overpass after another?

But this is not the worst thing. It is much worse when a person begins to pass off as what he really wanted, accidental success for what he always wanted to achieve. But can an unloved job, an unsuitable partner, bring joy and satisfaction? Will you enjoy the summit of Mount Everest if you have dreamed of swimming the English Channel all your life? Of course not. And the short-term joy of having done something great will quickly be replaced by uncertainty in your life and dissatisfaction with yourself.

This, probably, is the main principle of making your dreams come true. Do you remember how the wizards from "The Sorcerers" taught to pass through the walls of Ivan? See the goal, believe in yourself and ignore obstacles. Here are the basic rules that will help you make any seemingly unrealizable dream a reality.

First, be clear about what you would like to achieve. Say it out loud, tell your loved ones about your dream: parents, beloved, best friend. Psychologists say that any, even the most delusional and fantastic idea, expressed aloud, turns into reality. More precisely, speaking about her, you make her a part of your world. Not an ephemeral thought, but a real goal. And, therefore, by what is possible to accomplish. And don't be afraid to sound funny. Believe me, not everyone can truly dream in our time. And great respect (if not envy) is inspired by the very fact that you have a goal to which you strive with all the forces of your soul. So talk about your dreams, talk about them. And soon you will see that there is nothing impossible in the world, and you will take the first step towards the implementation of your plan. In addition, the thought that others know about your goals will stimulate you if, unexpectedly, in a moment of weakness, you want to give up everything. In addition, who knows, perhaps you will find a like-minded person, and it is always easier to achieve something together (or even in a larger company)!

Write your goals on a piece of paper and hang it over your bed or desk so that every day, willy-nilly, stumble upon this inscription and remind yourself of your purpose. Believe me, having stumbled upon this piece of paper in a difficult period for you, it will immediately become much easier for you. And the simple thought that all the difficulties that have fallen on you are just dust on your road, will warm you and give you strength.

Choose an idol for yourself - a person who managed to fulfill a dream similar to yours, or simply not get out of your way, despite all the hardships and obstacles. Study his (or her, depending on whom you choose) biography, note his strengths, extraordinary moves and decisions. And next to the piece of paper on which you outlined your goals, hang his portrait. He will remind you how important it is not to give up, and that a real desire for something always helps to overcome any obstacles.

Be sure to believe in yourself. After all, you are a unique creature on this planet. And it is not at all for your beautiful eyes that your boss always praises you at work, but your beloved gives you breathtaking bouquets of flowers and whispers tender words in your ear. And for purposefulness, for intelligence, for creativity and responsiveness. You are a person! And this is the main point. And if there comes a moment when your hands give up, and you feel weak, useless and incapable of anything, this is just fatigue. Draw the curtains, turn off the phone, hang the chain on the door. And relax. Take a herbal and oil bath, watch your favorite childhood movie, or flip through an album of old photos. Cry if you feel like crying. But only one single evening! Because the unconquered peaks are waiting for you outside the door, and you have enough strength and skills to conquer them!

And ignore the complexity. They will definitely be there. And the closer you get to your goal, the more problems there will be and the more difficult it will be to solve them. The strongest wind is on the mountain top, and the coastal currents strive to drag you back and prevent you from getting out of the water. Just don't panic ahead of time.

Remember Scarlett O'Hara's life principle and solve problems as they arise. Perhaps you will be able to avoid some problems, and perhaps they will not be at all what you are expecting. Just don't be afraid. After all, it is not for nothing that it is said that the more complex the problem, the more interesting it is to solve it. And, therefore, the greater the joy that you will experience when you achieve your dream.

Don't be afraid to change your life! As long as a person feels young, it is never too late for him to start all over again.

In any business, the most difficult thing is to take the first step. Write the first lines of your own book or the first paragraph of a plan for creating your own company, make the first strokes on canvas or the first lines of a dress pattern, cross the threshold of a modeling agency or just a sports club for the first time. But, having made this first step, having found strength and determination in yourself, having humbled your fear and uncertainty, you will immediately approach your goal by exactly half.

And remember: "When you want something, the whole universe will help make your wish come true!"
