For a long time, the actor's restaurants have been operating in Paris, in Belgium the celebrity has several small cafes, his own winery and a wine boutique in France. Now the celebrity plans to expand the business. Already in October, a restaurant with a short but sonorous name "Gerard" will open in Moscow.

“They will cook simple Russian and French dishes, which I like,” Depardieu himself said. He added that now he plans to open establishments in St. Petersburg and Saransk, where he is officially registered.

While the actor continues to shoot in various projects and recently presented the film "Welcome to New York", in which he played the role of the former head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Dominique Strauss-Kahn (Dominique Strauss-Kahn).

Recall that in January, the 65-year-old actor mentioned that he was somewhat tired and ready to end his acting career. “I've done enough work. Now I am free to do what I want, where I want and when I want, - said the artist in an interview with the French edition of the Journal du Dimanche. - I have achieved a certain clarity and now I want to go to meet strangers and unknown landscapes, I want to learn languages that I don't speak now.
