The Moscow International Film Festival is one of the largest domestic events, and everyone's attention is riveted on the stars of Russian cinema appearing on its red carpet.

In order not to become the object of unflattering comments, they need to look impeccable, but they cannot do without the help of professionals. The role of a professional was once again taken over by the InStyle magazine, which since 2007 has been responsible for the images of Russian and international stars appearing on the red carpet of the festival.

It's no secret that the right makeup and hairstyle is an important part of any image and a lot depends on their quality.

Yesterday, in order to "gather" our celebrities for a holiday, InStyle turned the space of the Vazari Villa banquet hall into a real factory for the production of beauty - "InStyleShowroom", with its own beauty salon and a whole row of hangers with elite works of Russian and foreign designers. Mountains of dresses, shoes, accessories and jewelry from leading jewelry houses, as well as hairdressers, makeup artists and stylists were at the disposal of the visitors.

The first guests started arriving in the morning. Having a quick bite, they went to inspect the outfits prepared for them. After choosing among the many options they especially liked, they went to make up and hair. After all, it's not a secret for anyone that the correct make-up and hairstyle is an important part of any image and a lot depends on their quality, and even more so if the makeup is presented by a star, because the face in this case is a visiting card.

One of the make-up artists of the event, Zhenya Matveeva, told Cleo what it is like to paint people whose faces are known to millions:

- It's easier to work with the stars. They usually know what they want, know what suits them and what doesn't. They behave friendly and willingly make contact. There were no complaints, personally in my practice, because first we discuss the hairstyle and outfit, and only after that we think about makeup, so there are no complaints, although it happens that some do not allow working with their fingers and even brushes - they bring their brushes …

After the face and hair were finished, the actresses fell into the hands of professional stylists, and the search for the perfect dress to go out continued. Either the color did not fit, the color I liked, but the style was no good, and besides, you need to pick up accessories for everything - the stylists had more than enough work. Despite the turmoil, "Cleo" managed to find out how often our celebrities use the services of the above professionals, whether there were any incidents with the chosen outfits and how important it is to have a personal style consultant.

Olesya Sudzilovskaya shared a secret: she plans to hire a stylist and is already negotiating. Ekaterina Vulichenko noted that she uses the services of professionals only when preparing for large events with tracks - in ordinary life she copes on her own. And Ekaterina Volkova said that she was lucky, she already has a stylist - she works with Jiga Sanzhieva (by the way, they appeared in InStyleShowroom together, and Jiga picked up a stunning velvet dress from A laRusse for Ekaterina).

Global incidents, as it turned out, did not happen to anyone, and if you didn’t like something, it was just a small flaw. As the actresses said, “there will always be those who don’t like something, the main thing is to like ourselves!”. They also unanimously agreed that they would never go out in an outfit that, in their opinion, did not suit them.

It was no less interesting for us to find out the opinion of the other side - the stylists themselves. From Ksenia Dorkina (one of the professionals of InStyle Showroom), we learned where the outfits for the red carpet come from and how to find a common language with famous people:

- Famous people, like any other, have different moods and temperaments, different tastes and preferences, so, of course, you have to adapt, because the stylist is also to some extent a psychologist. You need to pay attention to everything - what the person came in, what his haircut is. It happens that they are capricious, but today they are not. Today we have a lot of things: dresses, shoes, and accessories, so actresses are more like girls in their mothers' wardrobes - they want to try on as much as possible."

Ksenia also said that clothes were brought to the showroom from Milan press offices and from press offices in Russia, as well as from boutiques of Russian designers - all these outfits were chosen specifically for the film festival.
