There are still five months left before the Eurovision-2011 contest, but passions are already starting to flare up. According to press reports, musicians from 43 countries are planning to take part in the upcoming music competition.

So many countries have so far participated in Eurovision only once - in 2008 in Belgrade. Representatives of 39 countries took part in Oslo last year. For the first time in the past 13 years, viewers will see the Italians perform. In addition, Austria, Hungary and San Marino, who were absent in Oslo, will again take part in Eurovision in 2011. And Montenegro, on the contrary, announced that this year it will not send its representatives to the competition, reports the AFP agency.

At the moment, the names of the contestants have also been confirmed by Albania (Aurela Gaçe with the song Kënga ime), Armenia (Emmy, the song is being determined), Bosnia and Herzegovina (Dino Merlin, the song is being determined), Georgia (Dato, the song is being determined), Cyprus (Christos Milordos, the song nominated), Netherlands (3JC, song nominated), Romania (Hotel FM with song Change), Turkey (Yuksek Sadakat, song nominated) and Switzerland (Anna Rossinelli, song nominated).

As you know, this year Eurovision will be held in Dusseldorf. Germany will be represented by the winner of last year's competition Lena Mayer-Landrut. But the song, which the winner of 2010 will perform, will be chosen by the audience during national competitions.

At the same time, the well-known producer Yana Rudkovskaya said that her ward Dima Bilan would again like to represent Russia at the competition. True, already in a duet with Sergei Lazarev. If you believe the words of the producer, then Bilan will no longer represent Russia solo at this international competition.

However, the duet Bilan - Lazarev will take place only if the singers are offered a worthy composition with which they would represent Russia at Eurovision.
