British scientists studied 1,700 questionnaires and found that more than half of the respondents suffer from sleep disorders due to subconscious concerns about their own safety.

The terrorist threat, health problems, the safety of property from thieves' attacks - all these problems erode the human psyche, driving away sleep for long painful hours, filled with painful thoughts instead of healthy sleep.

One way or another, stressful insomnia is a child of our time, because, as the comparative analysis helped to establish, it was much easier for people five years ago to plunge into the arms of Morpheus. And now only 3% of the UK population miraculously manage to keep their sleep completely free from the effects of everyday stress.

Somnologists are still not very well aware of what happens to a person in a dream. But they know exactly how much sleep we need to function properly.

It is generally accepted that a person needs at least 8 hours of sleep per day, but in fact, the norm is determined individually and depends on the desires and needs of a particular person.

The conditions are dictated to everyone by his physiology and psychology, but the required minimum is 5-5, 5 hours. If you sleep less for three nights in a row, then the same changes occur in the body as after a day spent without sleep at all.

Sleep deprivation (deprivation) threatens at the first stage with emotional disorders in the form of irritability, apathy, and rapid mood swings. Then comes the turn of visual and auditory disorders, pain in the legs and arms, increased sensitivity to pain, forgetting of recent events.

After a sleepless night, to recuperate, it is enough to fully sleep the next two. But getting enough sleep for the future, as many people often try to do on weekends and holidays, unfortunately, is impossible.
