According to the tabloids, at the weekend Sukachev was hospitalized in a Moscow hospital with a diagnosis of acute alcohol poisoning. It was specified that he was admitted to the general intensive care unit with cerebral edema.

However, when questioned by journalists, the artist's representative said that the reports about Garik's hospitalization were fiction. According to Evgeny Evstigneev, the singer went to the hospital with minor food poisoning and now feels fine.

“This is stupidity! Garik himself came to the doctors, preventive procedures were performed, he does not have any edema. Now he is at home, I am going to him on business,”Evstigneev told RIA Novosti.

Recall that Sukachev is known not only for his musical talent, but also for his outrageous antics. At various times, he led groups such as Manual Sunset, Postscript (P. S.), S Brigade and The Untouchables.

“How did I get into the mainstream? Do not know. Maybe he has matured, maybe something else, - the artist reasoned in a recent interview. - I don't want to play anything anymore. Forgive me for the pathos, I want to sow what is rational, eternal and good. I’m probably a sentimental person, but there is so much evil in the world that I don’t want to see him again. This does not depress me, I just see a trend. And, probably, such a time is now, and it should be so."
