A farewell ceremony was held in the capital with the famous artist Andrei Panin. In the morning, hundreds of people gathered at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, where the coffin with the body of the deceased was exhibited. Both fans and colleagues of the deceased came to say goodbye to the artist.
The first to say goodbye to the actor were the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Ivan Demidov, the head of the Ermolovsky Theater Oleg Menshikov, Valery Nikolaev and Irina Apeksimova, Marat Basharov, Alexey Panin, the Strizhenov couple, Gosha Kutsenko and many others. Most of those present refused to communicate with the press - they simply put flowers to the coffin and left. Many tried to suppress emotions, but the actor and director Oleg Tabakov could not resist - he burst into tears.
Shortly before it became known about Panin's death, the Russian Academy of Motion Picture Arts nominated the artist for its Nika Award for Best Supporting Actor in the film Atonement.
As specified, the ceremony was not without unpleasant incidents. The fact is that the artist's fans were only allowed to put flowers, but at the same time they were forbidden to stay in the auditorium. Security representatives were slowly taking people out of the hall, but a group of fans gathered near the entrance, who tried to return to the hall, and as a result, there was a scuffle with the guards.
Recall that Panin's body with a traumatic brain injury was found in his apartment in Moscow on March 7. Now, according to press reports, the investigation is considering several versions of the tragedies: an accident and a stroke. The investigation has not yet discerned a criminal motive for the incident, although the case was initiated under a criminal article - on inflicting injuries that resulted in death. The results of the forensic medical examination will be received only in a month, at the beginning of April.
