The hotel staff, who discovered Houston, took the singer out of the bath and notified the security service about the incident. The death of the singer was stated by the ambulance doctors who arrived on call.

According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the star was destroyed by a mixture of alcohol and drugs, which she took in the last 48 hours before her death.

Information appeared in the British press that Whitney died after attending a party that lasted about two days, at which she drank alcohol. The singer's family members are inclined to believe that the star died as a result of taking the psychotropic drug Xanax and other medications after drinking alcohol.

However, the official cause of the singer's death will be announced only a few weeks later, after the results of the toxicological examination are received.
