A maximum of 100 test points can be scored for a physics exam. A certain number of points corresponds to a certain grade. The scale for converting USE scores in 2022 in physics into grades allows you to interpret knowledge according to the familiar system.

Scheme for translating USE scores in physics into grades

Physics is an optional subject for 11th grade. It is chosen by graduates who plan to continue their studies in a technical or applied profile. The minimum level in physics for obtaining a certificate is 29 points. These figures confirm the mastery of the educational program. To enter the academy, you need to score a minimum of 39 points.

A solid basic knowledge of physics allows you to score above average. If you start additional training on time, you can get a higher score on the exam.

This is how points are translated into grades:

"Fine" "Good" "Troika" Exam not passed
Above 72 points 53 to 67 36 to 52 Below 35

The higher the final score in physics, the easier it is for a graduate to enter a specialized institution.

Scale for converting USE scores in physics from primary to test

The evaluation of the Unified State Exam in physics takes place in several stages. First, the works are checked and initial points are awarded. This is how the result for correct answers is calculated.

Then, on a scale developed at the Ped. measurements, primary scores are converted to test scores. These secondary points count towards university admission.

The table for converting USE points in physics, developed by FIPI specialists:

Primary Test Primary Test Primary Test
1 4 21 47 41 70
2 8 22 48 42 71
3 11 23 49 43 72
4 15 24 50 44 75
5 18 25 51 45 77
6 22 26 52 46 79
7 25 27 54 47 82
8 29 28 55 48 84
9 32 29 56 49 86
10 34 30

50 89
11 35 31 58 51 91
12 36 32 60 52 93
13 37 33 61 53 96
14 38 34 62 54 98
15 40 35 63 55 100
16 41 36 64 - -
17 42 37 65 - -
18 43 38 67 - -
19 44 39 68 - -
20 45 40 69 - -

The transfer from primary to secondary points is automatic. Graduates receive exam results in their hands. There, the primary points are indicated with a report on each completed (true / false) task. The minimum threshold is considered to be 12 primary points, which correspond to 36 test points out of 100 possible.

Changes in the exam in physics in 2022

Promising USE models, including those in physics, are being introduced gradually. Each new element of the exam will be included after a long discussion. New models of control and measurement materials will be adjusted gradually. Two times a year, the stages of KIM testing are planned to be carried out in different regions.

In 2022, in general, changes will affect some of the tasks based on astronomical materials. In the V section "Quantum physics and elements of astrophysics" the topic "Elements of astrophysics" will be added. Also, in the exam in physics, there may be some more changes, but there will be no real experiments.

The methodologists who develop tasks for the exam will also have to correct the questions to which the graduates answer. Many children do not know how to correctly read instructions for completing assignments. The topics of the assignments move away from the everyday context. In physics, questions related to planning and conducting experiments will be proposed.
