The tests after graduation from high school or lyceum are stressful for graduates. Both parents and teachers, along with children, want to know what result their daughter or son received. The 2021 Unified State Exam Score Transfer Scale in Physics is an important tool for prospective students.
FIPI-approved criteria for evaluating physics assignments on the exam
FIPI has approved criteria (rules and requirements) for assessing student physics assignments. They are mandatory, as they help to correctly characterize the skills and knowledge of the graduate.
These criteria fall into 2 categories:
- Passing points.
- Maximum and minimum scores.

Tasks are carefully considered, deficiencies are identified. Among them may be:
- Lack of solutions, formulas for calculations.
- The laws and theories and patterns are not given in full.
- Numbers and values are not translated according to the rules or contain errors.
- The answer contains false information, crossed out, corrections (including smearing with stationery mixtures).
- Brackets, punctuation marks and other designations that are necessary in the answer are not used.
- The logical chain was broken during the calculation.
- An incorrect answer was received or was not recorded in full.
All of these shortcomings can lead to a decrease in the total score of the members of the commission. When writing the final answer, the test taker must necessarily double-check the result before passing. In total, a graduate can receive 53 points for tests. This figure is considered the highest.
The minimum number of points for admission to universities
In Russia, a minimum threshold of 36 points in physics on the exam is set. In other cases, the applicant will be refused to submit documents.

There is a rule on the basis of which a graduate has the right to retake all tests on time. Usually they are set by the educational institution where the exam is held.
Scale for transferring points
The colors used in the education system are red, orange and green. They help students quickly and accurately determine what they are getting. After the green line, all points are accepted for admission to universities. Some of them may have different requirements.
The scale for converting USE 2021 points in physics into secondary ones is as follows.
Primary scores |
Secondary points |
1 to 10 to redline | 4, 7, 10, 14, 17, 20, 23, 27, 30 and 33 respectively |
11 to 12 to orange line | 36 and 38 respectively |
13 to 32 to the green line | 40, 41, 42, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 57, 58, 59, 60 and 61 respectively |
The conversion of points to grades is no longer applied. You can independently compare the indicators using the old method. The complexity of the process lies in the use of common indicators that vary across school subjects.
So, in a foreign language, a student can get 100 points, which is equal to the mark "excellent". In physics, however, it will be necessary to calculate an estimate between the minimum indicator of 36 units and the maximum of 53 units.

The changes were adopted by the FIPI for the convenience of teachers, but caused a lot of controversy when passing the tests. What the scoring system will be in 2022 remains to be seen. It is possible that task developers will include additional blocks.

Outcomes
Having learned your grade and the number of points, you can already choose an educational institution for admission in advance. It is recommended to clarify information regarding the requirements for applicants in the admissions office of the university or on the official website of the institution.
