From February 25 to March 6 in the Ilgiz F. Gallery in Moscow, the exhibition "Women's Business" is being held. This is the first jewelry exposition in the world, in which only women take part.
How do industry representatives see the jewelry world? What is the degree of their participation in it? Why are there 9 girls for every 10 students of jewelry courses, although 5-6 years ago everything was exactly the opposite? The exhibition will provide answers to these and many other questions.
The guests of the event will be able to get acquainted with the works of the participants, who create in completely different directions and styles - from natural minimalism and ethnicity to architectural Gothic and modernism based on computer algorithms. The exhibition will feature both completely handcrafted products and jewelry created using modern technologies.
21 industry representatives will become exhibitors of Women's Business: Elena Okutova Jewelery, Diana Dzhanelli Jeweler, Victoria Strizhak (Vertigo Jewelery Lab), Natalia Adukhova (PNJewelry), Olga Shatrova Jewelery, Evgenia Naumova (Eva Naumova Jewelry), Olga Guzhauskaite (23Felicity), Anna Eiserle (PROSPEROUS), Aigana Gali, Anna Khurudzhi (HURUDGANNA), Yulia Blum (JBlum. The profession of a jeweler is traditionally considered masculine. But every year the number of women who have chosen this specialty is growing. Non-standard thinking, attention to detail, accuracy and discipline are some of the most important qualities that a master should have. And this is one of the reasons why women who choose this path very often become the leading professionals in the industry. Undoubtedly, another advantage is the ability to feel this world very subtly. It allows women jewelers to embody all its diversity and versatility in their works, to create unique works of art.
The event will take place in the Ilgiz F. Gallery in Moscow - a chamber space that allows you to emphasize the exclusivity of the event and completely immerse yourself in the world of contemporary jewelry art. The opening of the exhibition "Women's Business" will take place on February 25 and will be closed. The exposition will be available for visiting guests from February 26. Free admission.
