Usually, all of these categories work even on December 31, as well as on January 1 and 2. Many industrial enterprises operate continuously, and specialists work in shifts. Therefore, they do not have full-fledged New Year's holidays. When they need to start their duties, you should find out in advance.

Will there be a reduction in holidays

Recently, more and more rumors have been circulating about the intention of the deputies to shorten the New Year holidays for Russians. This would increase the level of labor productivity and GDP. In particular, such a measure is relevant after the coronavirus epidemic, when most of the enterprises closed due to the high alert regime.
