The income of the employee of Karamatova for 2018 amounted to 260,000 rubles, and for 2019 - 220,000 rubles. In 2018, she was on sick leave for 5 days, and in 2019 - 7 days. The amount of the benefit in 2020 will be:

  • (260,000 + 220,000) / (730-5-7) = 668.4 rubles. - average daily earnings;

At the same time, the legislation establishes the maximum and minimum payments. According to the changes made to the legislation from January 1, women who go on maternity leave in 2020 will receive an increase in the amount of benefits. And this is due to an increase in the minimum wage by 2.9%.

  • the employee has been working at the enterprise for less than 6 months;

  • the employer did not pay insurance premiums for the employee;
  • the size of wages turned out to be less than the minimum wage.

As for the maximum payments, the limit will directly affect the amount paid to the employee in the event of an insured event. This is especially true in the case of those workers who receive high wages. For the calculation, they take the average income of a woman for the last 2 years (necessarily taking into account the established limit when calculating insurance premiums).
