We remind you that according to the official law on presidential elections, the results of voting are announced only by the chairman of the CEC, during the meeting, after 100% of the protocols have been processed. The chosen one of the Ukrainian state takes over from the taking of the oath to the people of Ukraine at the solemn and official meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, and only after that the CEC presents the certificate of the President of Ukraine.

Note that “Opora”, a civilian network, also conducted a vote check in parallel with the CEC.

Viktor Yanukovych was practically the first to congratulate Volodymyr Zelenskyy on winning the presidential elections in 2019. Also, Yanukovych could not fail to note that ex-President Petro Poroshenko brought a lot of "monstrous suffering" to the Ukrainian people.

Note that abroad, Petro Poroshenko gained 53, 93% of the vote, and Volodymyr Zelensky was not far behind him, gaining 44, 57%.

On his social network Instagram, Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked all voters for participating in the presidential elections in Ukraine and for their support.

Zelensky's main tasks

According to Mykola Davydyuk, for Volodymyr Zelensky, the real challenge is not to leave the post of President of Ukraine after a year. The expert says that the new president has 2 main tasks:

  • moving from the old presidential administration building to a new transparent office;
  • the need to convert such a huge rating into deputy mandates so that he could make important decisions on his own. But the opinion of N. Davydyuk is this: every day, the party of Vladimir Zelensky will lose a certain number of mandates, that is, millions of dollars.

There is a possibility that the people will not like Zelensky's candidacy at the helm of the country. Since many times the hopes of the Ukrainian people have melted away that the promises of the next candidates will bear fruit and will not be just another simple splash of words.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, already the current president of Ukraine, expressed his decision that he wants to increase pensions, as well as teachers' salaries, which means that it will be necessary to take income from the oligarchs.

Recall that in the first round of presidential elections in Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko won 15, 95% of the vote, and his opponent Volodymyr Zelensky - 30, 24%.
