You can take care of loved ones by making postcards for the New Year 2019 with your own hands. The most interesting thing is that materials are often used as decorative elements that can be easily found in almost every home.

The main thing is to choose high-quality craft paper so that the card looks beautiful and solemn. But if you didn't manage to go to the office supply store, you can always use ordinary A4 paper folded in half.

Simple postcards for the New Year 2019 are easy to make with your own hands with your children, so that you can then take them to kindergarten or school.

Collaboration will be remembered and will bring many positive emotions:

  1. to complete you will need an even branch from a tree, a beautiful narrow tape, glue, red cardboard and a simple pencil. Fold an A4 sheet in half and glue a stick in the middle. We draw a star and cut it out, and then we fix it at the base of the future tree. On top of the trunk we lay out the tape in the form of a zigzag and fix it with PVA glue. The postcard is ready.
  2. When sharpening colored pencils with a sharpener, a lot of wooden husks remain. On a sheet A4 folded in 2 times, outline the contours of the future Christmas tree and glue this shavings, creating an imitation of a New Year's tree. To give it a more elegant look, draw dots with a marker or felt-tip pen, creating a garland. The trunk can be made with tape, the twigs can be painted with acrylic paint or drawn with pencils.
  3. You can make a Christmas tree for a postcard from pieces of newsprint or cut it out on sheets of an unnecessary book using a template. And then stick it on the postcard.
  4. No less interesting will look a New Year's tree created from circles folded in half made of paper or cotton pads. Gluing them, we fix the blanks in such a way that the tree expands to the bottom. As a decoration, we use acrylic paint, drawing patterns in the form of snowflakes. Or we grease the base of the tree with glue and scatter small pieces of cotton wool and beads over it.

Interesting crafts with the symbol of the year

If you want to make interesting postcards with a pig, you can download and print ready-made photos or templates, and then stick them on cardboard or paper. Or draw a boar yourself by watching video tutorials.

Such beautiful crafts can be presented to your grandmother, grandfather or godfather, or presented to a teacher at school or a kindergarten teacher.

Would need:

  • white or any other color cardboard;
  • colored paper of pink or yellow hue;
  • scissors, glue;
  • button;
  • black felt-tip pen;
  • white disc marker or stroke;
  • needle and white thread;
  • small mug of coffee;
  • sponge for washing dishes;
  • simple pencil.

Manufacturing:

  1. We draw a silhouette of a pig on colored paper. Carefully cut out and outline the outline with a white marker or stroke. We draw a circle along the contour of the button, cut it out, outline it and glue the heel in place. We draw dots-eyes to make the pig look beautiful and interesting.
  2. Fold the cardboard in half to form the base for the postcard. Dip a sponge in coffee and blot the entire light surface to slightly age it and give it an interesting look. Leave to dry at room temperature. Do not put the postcard to dry on the battery, otherwise the cardboard will be deformed.
  3. On the finished base, glue a pig and a button a few centimeters above the pig's ears, and then draw a tail from the back of the body to the button, as in the photo.
  4. We thread the needle into the needle and sew the edges, creating a piping. So the craft will look very beautiful and neat, as if it was bought in a store.
  5. If you do not have the ability to draw and create animal silhouettes using templates, you can make very simple DIY New Year 2019 cards. This does not require special talents for needlework. Indeed, to decorate beautiful crafts, it will be enough to sew buttons of different sizes to the cardboard, imitating ears, eyes and a patch.

The rest of the details and wishes can be drawn and written with a marker with a thin rod.

The most interesting needlework using buttons

If there are a lot of buttons in the house that are lying around, they can be put to worthy use. Gluing them step by step to the base of the future postcard using a glue gun, you will be able to create interesting shapes in the winter style. It is not necessary to use buttons of the same color, texture or shape.

Having chosen the most interesting from the sewing box, the main thing is to fix them so that the created drawing or pattern looks harmonious.

You can make Christmas balls from buttons by gluing them to cardboard in different order and checking the lines with a marker or paint. Or create Christmas trees, snowmen, snowflakes and other attributes of the New Year on a holiday card. And warm and sincere wishes will complement an exclusive gift and allow you to believe in magic.

The most interesting thing in creating postcards is spending time together with children, who perceive creative work with parents as a responsible task. And even if it does not work out to make a beautiful postcard the first time, the child will still be happy that he managed to please the people close to him.
