Basic requirements of Rospotrebnadzor

The requirements of Rospotrebnadzor for the organization of the educational process, published on the official website of the department, will seem overstated for most students and their parents. But it is better to try to comply with the introduced requirements than to close schools and kindergartens for quarantine in two weeks due to the second wave of the epidemic.

What requirements have been introduced:

• break times and start times will be different for each class;
• there should be no more than 15 students in one class;
• increased sanitary requirements;
• students will not move from one class to another during the day.

A ban is introduced on holding any public events and organizing extended day groups.

Academic year under new rules

The situation that has developed due to the epidemic does not allow schools and kindergartens to work as usual. All schoolchildren of the country froze in anticipation of what will happen next, and how children will learn in the new 2020/2021 academic year.

Despite all the restrictions imposed, the start of the academic year in the country will not be postponed. Although earlier there was information that the new academic year would be postponed, or there was a question about the introduction of distance learning.

The academic year in educational institutions, despite the fears of parents, will begin in full-time format. This was stated by representatives of the Ministry of Education of Russia. However, new rules will be introduced for schoolchildren:

1. Before the opening of all educational institutions and kindergartens, a general cleaning will be carried out.
2. It is planned to assign a separate room for each class, in which all lessons will be held.
3. Regular treatment of all work surfaces in schools will be carried out: door handles, floors, window sills, bathrooms, furniture, latrines.
4. There will be antiseptic dispensers at the school entrances.
5. So that schoolchildren from different grades do not communicate during recess, they will be held on a separate schedule.
6. It is not recommended to unite pupils of different classes in one extended group, and it is also forbidden to organize "duty evening" groups.
7. To reduce the number of students in a class to 15 people, a two-shift training system will have to be used.
8. Every morning before lessons, each child will have their temperature taken. If a student's temperature rises during the day, he will be immediately isolated and his parents will be called.
9. Physical education lessons will be conducted exclusively in the fresh air, taking into account the weather conditions.

Also, important changes will affect the solemn lines - there will be no annual holiday gathering of schoolchildren and parents in 2020. But, most likely, they will be allowed to hold a ruler in a limited form. And what exactly they will be, Rospotrebnadzor is still deciding.

Special markings may appear in schools, so it will be much easier for children and teachers to maintain social distance. Were prepared rubber gloves and medical masks, devices for disinfecting premises, disinfectants.

When working with students individually, teachers are required to wear protective masks and other workers are required to wear masks throughout the day. Students are allowed to wear protective masks at will.

To separate the flows of schoolchildren, several entrances to educational institutions will be used at once. There will also be a schedule for visiting the cafeteria during breaks and a lesson schedule for each class. Because this is the only way to minimize the contacts of schoolchildren.

Kindergarten work

Today, all kindergartens in Russia work as usual. But the duty groups that worked during self-isolation were canceled. Despite this, group isolation is observed in kindergartens. No mass events will be held until the end of the year.

Disinfection of rooms and all surfaces is carried out on a regular basis, ventilation is scheduled. Particular attention is paid to employees of institutions. Their health is constantly monitored, at the slightest ailment they are quarantined and prohibited from contacting children. All staff undergo medical examinations and tests for the presence of coronavirus.

It is not yet known exactly how children will study in the new 2020/2021 academic year. But if it is impossible to organize the educational process in schools according to the proposed scheme, children will continue to receive education remotely until the situation with the coronavirus stabilizes.
