On April 8 and 9, within the framework of Russian Fashion Week, seminars organized by Fashion Consulting Group and the agency will be held"

April 8, 11.00-14.00 - seminar "Street-fashion - a source of commercial ideas. Non-conformist streets and high fashion". How the fashion industry has changed under the influence of youth trends, what are the results of the general democratization of fashion, what changes await the market in the foreseeable future, the portrait of today's fashion shopper and the most influential subcultural trends that have the greatest impact on the audience. The topic of this seminar looks like an entertaining cultural study only at first glance: Vivienne Westwood, who built a name for herself on clothes for punk groups in the 70s, can serve as a good example of how the observant eye gives new impetus to creative processes.

April 9, 11.00 - 14.00 - Seminar "Design and Marketing: Principles of Organization of Design Bureau Work in the Fashion Industry".

The presenter of the seminar, Andrei Burmatikov, talks about quite practical things: what is the technology of creativity and what does Product development mean, how to correctly define the goals of a design bureau in accordance with the marketing strategy, where to start and how to organize it correctly.

State University - Higher School of Economics, room 15, Maly Gnezdnikovsky lane, 4, How to start a successful design bureau, how to turn unstable design inspiration into a stable source of income, and what tools a design bureau should use to achieve commercial success. Where to get inspiration for creating successful collections and why it is important for a designer to walk the streets. Seminars held by Fashion Consulting Group within Russian Fashion Week provide answers to these and many other questions. Successful fashion practice is unthinkable without theory, especially if someone has already tested the theory by practice.

Such programs are a completely new experience in the practice of holding national fashion weeks. Since its launch in 2002, Russian Fashion Week has been focused on professional seasonal fashion weeks in Paris, Milan, New York and London, and is constantly on the lookout for new ideas. RFW was the first to implement the experience of world fashion weeks on the Russian market, RFW was the first to promote Russian fashion abroad, and now RFW is preparing the basis for a "Russian invasion".

“RFW has a well-thought-out development plan for several years,” says Alexander Shumsky, general producer of Russian Fashion Week. “Seminars for professionals prepared by FCG specialists are part of this plan. There is nothing to do on the international market without marketing and special knowledge. Many RFW participants have this knowledge, for example, Daria Razumikhina is successfully sold in Tokyo-London-New York, Alena Akhmadullina in Paris, etc. But knowledge is never enough. We hope that our initiative will help designers better structure their business. The next step is to move to the world's fashion capitals."

Fashion Consulting Group is one of the largest organizations providing training, consulting, educational and information services for companies that produce and sell clothing, footwear and fashion accessories. FCG's clients include the most famous boutiques in the capital, large Russian and Western companies, and Fashion Houses. In short, FCG's experience of testing Western theories against Russian realities is quite impressive and makes the seminars they organize useful for those who are ready to call themselves a fashion professional.

The program of the course, which will be announced on April 8 and 9 at the Higher School of Economics, is divided into two parts: practical and general humanitarian.

Having gathered several dozen fashion practitioners on the catwalk, Russian Fashion Week offers them a unique opportunity to get acquainted with fashion theory, to shake things up a bit by arguing with the seminar author and to check their personal information baggage.
