Order No. 678 at the end of 2020 determined the time and procedure for the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in 2021-2022. at the final stage.

What changes have been made

The Minister of Education of the Russian Federation called the All-Russian Olympiad an important tool for finding talents and forming a recruitment of professional personnel in the country. At the same time, schoolchildren who have demonstrated excellent results are admitted to universities without exams.

The new Order of the Ministry slightly changed the procedure and conditions for the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren (VOSH or VOSH) in 2021-2022. He introduced the following innovations:

• For the first time in the history of the Olympiad movement, there are norms that allow not only schoolchildren with disabilities to participate in it, but also create the proper conditions for their work.
• The transparency of the procedure is provided. Regional and final stages will be held in specially equipped rooms, oral answers are recorded. Video recording is also provided in classrooms, where participants will give written answers.
• Any decisions of the competitive stages must be checked by at least two members of the referee commission. At each stage of the Olympiad, the responsibility of the organizers has been strengthened.
• The new Order of the relevant Ministry stipulates, as mandatory, the issue of confidentiality. The sets of Olympiad tasks will be protected by additional security measures that will be strengthened during the development of the questions.

In the context of a global pandemic, there have been some transformations in the conduct of last year's VOS. Therefore, in 2021-2022. winners of the last and the year before last will take part. This means that the composition of the competitors will be especially strong, and the competition in all subjects is unprecedentedly high.

Required information

The Olympiad provides for the passage of several stage-by-stage competitions - at the school, municipal, regional and national levels. In the new order, not only subjects are determined, but also methods of organization, technologies of competitive tests:

• exams are held in several areas - exact and humanities, philology, natural disciplines;
• philologists, in addition to English and Russian, can take other languages - French, Italian, Chinese and Spanish;
• in total, prizes in 24 subjects will be played in the Olympiad;
• you can even participate in the qualifying stages in physical education and drawing, since the Olympiad is held among schoolchildren from 5th to 11th grades;
• the child can complete tasks for high school.

All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in 2021-2022 - this is a significant chance for winners and prize-winners, since the diploma issued at the Higher School of Education is valid for four years, and it gives the right to enter any higher educational institution of the Russian Federation without a specialized exam.

How is the competitive selection process

VOSH - Olympiad, which is held in stages. Anyone who takes part in the starting stage, with the knowledge and the ability to concentrate on completing tasks, can theoretically get to the final stage. Phased planning looks like this:

1. The school, or initial stage is held not only in ordinary schools, but also in lyceums and gymnasiums, in the first months of the new school year. It should be completed no later than mid-October.
2. At the municipal level, the qualifying round starts in late autumn - early winter. A smaller number of participants take part in this stage, since the right to pass it is given only by the required number of points scored by the Olympiad. It is attended by students from the 7th to the 11th grade.
3. The start of the regional qualifying round begins in January, its organization and financing are entrusted to the state authorities of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation. Pupils of the final grades (from 9th to 11th) participate in it. It is believed that getting to this level requires not only extended knowledge (already outside the framework of the usual school curriculum), but also developed verbal functions, erudition, non-standard thinking.
4. March-April is the time of the All-Russian stage, which is held by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. It is honorable and prestigious. In addition, the winners of last year's competition can compete this year, with new participants who have passed all stages and reached the all-Russian level. There are known two-time and even three-time winners.

In addition to full-time, there is also a remote possibility of passing. A special scoring system determines prize-winners and winners. On a school and municipal tour, sometimes there are no winners, there are only winners - those who have scored more than half of the possible number of points.

At the final stage, the winner is the one with the most points. It is theoretically possible that it will not be one person. But only a quarter of all participants come to the honorary titles and the diploma, which gives the right to admission without a profile exam for 4 years.

Transit time

Several million students take part in school Olympiads. You can check the timetable at your school or on the website of your local department of education.

If a student passes the school and municipal stages, he will be promptly notified of the place and time of the stage in the profile subject. Order No. 669 on the regional stage has already been published, it is broken down in numbers from 12 to 25 February.

Outcomes

VOSH is a great chance. It is provided to almost every child who studies in grades 5 through 11:

1. At the school stage, several million students take part in it.
2. Winning three stages gives you the opportunity to move on to the next.
3. The winner and awardee of the All-Russian Olympiad may not take the university exam in a specialized subject.
4. The VSOS diploma is valid for 4 years.
