Armen Dzhigarkhanyan dies at 86

For the past few years, Armen Dzhigarkhanyan has been seriously ill, but fans believed that he will recover. Unfortunately, on November 14, the great actor and wonderful artist passed away.

As Valentin Gaft said: "There are much fewer Armenians on earth than films where Dzhigarkhanyan played." Indeed, this smiling man with noble gray hair and a hoarse voice has played in almost 300 films. For this he was even listed in the Guinness Book of Records.

The most significant and recognizable roles are Judge Kriegs ("Hello, I am your aunt"), Karp ("The meeting place cannot be changed"), Gurgen ("Gangster Petersburg"), Tristan ("The dog in the manger"). In addition, Armen voiced everyone's favorite cartoons: "Funtik", "Once upon a time there was a dog", "Treasure Island" and many others.

Armen also played in the theater, and all his performances were very popular. The hall was always full. Ather gave his whole soul to the audience.

Dzhigarkhanyan's health deterioration began in 2018, when Armen suffered a stroke. However, thanks to the doctors, he came out of a coma and went on the mend. After a while, having recovered a little, Dzhigarkhanyan was even able to return to the theater, but he still rested at home most of the time.

The artist also complained about the kidneys and liver, and several times ended up with complications in the hospital.

Armen's emotional state has improved lately. After a short and very scandalous marriage with a young pianist Vitalina Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya, Dzhigarkhanyan returned to his family, to his loving wife Tatyana Vlasova. The woman found the strength to forgive her husband and accept him back. Until the last days she looked after Armen and did everything to alleviate his condition.

Many stars wrote in their Instagram posts words of sympathy for family and relatives, expressed the pain of loss. The causes of death have not yet been discussed. The date and place of the funeral will be communicated to friends, relatives and fans additionally.
