Almost every self-respecting girl at some point thinks about the prevention of oncology. And the prevention of breast cancer is especially relevant for the fair sex. Of course, a lot depends on heredity and lifestyle. But recently, French scientists have found out an interesting fact: regular exercise significantly reduces the risk of developing malignant breast tumors.

Professor Mathieu Boniol and colleagues at the International Institute for Preventive Research conducted a meta-analysis of 37 medical publications from 1987 to 2013 that looked at the impact of exercise on cancer risk.

In the end, they concluded that with active exercise - ideally more than an hour every day - the risk of developing breast cancer is reduced by 12%.

Experts strongly recommend that women over 35 have regular mammograms.

Moreover, this pattern is valid for all women, regardless of age, weight and nationality. The only exceptions are women receiving hormone replacement therapy during menopause. In this case, it does not even matter when to start classes - at a young age or already elderly.

“All of the studies analyzed focused on the impact of exercise and the risk of breast cancer. We have analyzed all publications on this topic. Therefore, we are confident that the results of our findings are accurate and reliable,”says Boniol. The professor admits that while doctors cannot say for sure why physical activity has such a beneficial effect. But nevertheless it works.

“This is an absolutely inexpensive and simple method for the prevention of breast cancer, a disease, the treatment of which is so complex and expensive for the state, and for patients and their families,” stresses Boniol.
