In July, the actress announced her intention to take a break from her career and stay with her father, Stephen Swank, who was recovering from lung transplant surgery. "My dad lives with me," the star told Huffpost Live, "I'm the only person caring for him now."
According to the star, she wants nothing more than to be with her father in difficult times. She added that if she missed the opportunity to take care of him, she would always remember and regret it. Spending time with her father, a former Oregon National Guard Air Force officer, would help her catch up in her youth, Swank believed. “Previously, we did not have the opportunity to be alone with each other,” she explained.
