Valentina Malyavina, a biography whose personal life is a chain of striking events, falls and flights, husbands, civil and official, was born in Moscow a few days before the start of the Great Patriotic War. Following her father, a colonel, who was seconded to the Far East, she went there with her sister and mother. The future actress ended up in Moscow only after almost a decade.

Career start

After graduating from a Moscow school, Valentina, who had dreamed of an acting career since childhood, entered the Moscow Art Theater School, but a year later she transferred to the Shchukin School, where she began to study in the studio of B. Zakhava. During this period, nothing is known about relations with the family and, in particular, with his father, who at that time became a general. A talented actress, a bright beauty, after receiving her diploma, she received an invitation to the Theater. Lenin Komsomol, but three years later moved to the Theater. Vakhtangov, where she served for nearly a decade and a half.

Her biography mentions work in the Theater-Studio of Film Actor and the commercial theater "Artist", but these were only episodes in her theatrical career. The list of films with her participation is extensive, many roles were memorable, but in independent Russia her star gradually faded.

The plot for the series

The beauty of the girl was a significant obstacle to career growth, but her personal life could become the plot for a long crime-melodramatic series.

At the age of 18, having become pregnant, she became the wife of A. Zbruev: a secret marriage did not cause any complaints, pregnancy became the subject of a scandal. Valentina was induced to give birth, but the reason for the divorce was not the death of her daughter, but the numerous novels of V. Malyavina - first with A. Tarkovsky, then with P. Arsenov, a director and actor, whom she married immediately after the decision was made. the court for the dissolution of the first marriage.

This union also turned out to be a failure - the child died in childbirth, A. Kaidanovsky appeared on the horizon. The husband was aware of the novel and is unshakably confident that this hobby will pass. Ultimately, he turned out to be right, but he was a little wrong with the timing: the romance lasted 6 years, during which Kaidanovsky and Arsenov managed to make friends. And with that, and with the other man, she eventually broke up.

Films

The debut on the screen of the young actress was the romantic melodrama "First Date". And already the next work, the role of paramedic Maria in the military film "Ivan's Childhood", made Malyavina a real star of the Soviet screen. The production drama "Morning Trains", the film about the Second World War "The Tunnel", the light comedy film "The Literature Lesson" and the musical comedy tale "The Deer King" also enjoyed great success with the audience.

The last of these films is remarkable for two facts: firstly, the singer Alla Pugacheva performs the musical parts for Valentina, and secondly, according to the script, the picture was supposed to have a completely different ending. But during the creation of the fairy tale between Malyavina and her husband Pavel Arsenov, a grandiose scandal erupted, it was not possible to continue shooting, so the ending of the story remained open.

Valentina also took part in Vasily Ordynsky's large-scale military-patriotic project Red Square, a television show based on Oscar Wilde's novel The Portrait of Dorian Gray. It is also worth noting such films by Malyavina as the sports film "The Price of Fast Seconds", the biographical picture about the great Russian playwright Alexander Ostrovsky "My home is a theater", the production drama "You will find in battle" and the women's story "When a man is near."

Then, due to a personal tragedy, Valentina Alexandrovna dropped out of the cinema for almost 10 years. Only in 1988, a new work with her participation was released - the melodrama "Husband and Daughter of Tamara Alexandrovna", which was followed by the life tape "Woman for All", where such stars as Larisa Udovichenko and Nikolai Karachentsov also sparkle with talent, and an unusual comedy film "Autumn Temptations". Then again there is an almost ten-year hiatus. In 2000, the actress appears in one episode of the series "Editorial", and this small role already finally puts an end to Malyavina's filmography.

Personal life

Valentina Malyavina had a stormy personal life, which aroused interest among colleagues and viewers back in the Soviet years, giving rise to many rumors and speculation. The first husband is actor Alexander Zbruev. At the time of their acquaintance, he was not yet a star, and she was a schoolgirl at all. Zbruev is three years older than her.

At the age of 17, she became pregnant and secretly from everyone, the couple signed. However, even despite the marriage, the parents forced Valentina to get rid of the child, despite the fact that she was seven months old. As Malyavina herself assured, her parents tricked her into terminating the pregnancy. This incident not only undermined her health and ability to bear children (she remained childless), but also led to tension with her husband, who wanted heirs. As a result, family life with Zbruev was completely upset.

On the set of the film "Ivan's Childhood" she had an affair with film director Andrei Tarkovsky. Both were officially married at that time. At the end of filming, their relationship came to naught.

Further on the set of the film "Youth" she met the director and actor Pavel Arsenov. They began an affair. Malyavina filed for divorce from Zbruev and then married Arsenov. She was able to get pregnant, but the baby died in childbirth.

For some time, Malyavina lived simultaneously with her official husband Pavel Arsenov and with Alexander Kaidanovsky. In the end, she broke up with both. Her next lover was the young (12 years younger than her) actor Stanislav Zhdanko - she met him thanks to her former lover Kaidanovsky.

A stormy and passionate romance broke out between Malyavina and Zhdanko. They often threw scenes of jealousy at each other. Then, when both of them began to stagnate, they began to spend time together drinking alcohol, relieving depression. This ultimately led to tragedy.

After another binge in 1978, Stanislav Zhdanko was found dead - with a knife in his heart. At first, the investigation decided that this was a suicide on the basis of creative lack of demand (the actor was previously removed from the role in the theater). However, his family sought a reconsideration of the case, being sure that Stanislav had killed Malyavin. And after five years, the case was again sent for review.

The investigator who led him earlier was fired for incompetence, and Valentina Malyavina was accused of premeditated murder. In 1983, the court sentenced the actress to nine years in prison. Note that she herself - neither then nor later - did not admit her guilt. She was released in 1987 under an amnesty in connection with the 70th anniversary of the October Revolution.

After leaving prison, Malyavina not only returned to work in theater and cinema, but also got married again - her husband was the blacksmith and metalworker Maxim Krasnov (creator of the artistic fence around the Tretyakov Gallery). However, this marriage also fell apart. The third official husband of the actress was Vladimir Krasnitsky, an icon painter and woodcarver. Family life did not last long: Vladimir Krasnitsky was stabbed in the back when he returned home late in the evening.

After the murder of Krasnitsky, the actress began to lean on alcohol even more, she was constantly seen in dubious companies. She often changed lovers, one of whom almost deprived her of her living space, trying to take advantage of Malyavina's drunken state to rewrite the apartment for herself.

In 2001, another friend of hers, after another binge, beat the actress, while during the fall she hit her head hard and almost lost her sight. She underwent several operations, but they could not restore her vision.

Valentina Malyavina now

Now the once famous actress lives in a boarding house for veterans of science, where she was placed at the request of the Actors Guild. This is not an ordinary nursing home, but a high-comfort facility with excellent medical and social services, but with an incredibly strict regime.

Visitors cannot get there without special permission, residents have no connection with the outside world. They are not even allowed to use the telephone, and they go out for walks only when accompanied by staff, especially Valentina Alexandrovna, who, after an unfortunate injury, never regained her eyesight, although she went through several operations.

She was not informed about the death of the last chosen one, Vladimir Krasnitsky. This man was considered the common-law husband of Malyavina, although he himself renounced such a "title" and claimed that he was married and had a son. However, Vladimir did not deny that he had tender feelings for Valentina, because they had known each other for more than 30 years.

Valentina Malyavina in old age

The reclusive actress broke the silence a couple of times. In 2016, Malyavina agreed to meet with the film crew of the documentary "Role without the right of correspondence."

In 2018, Andrey Malakhov became a guest of Valentina Alexandrovna. In a conversation with the TV presenter, the artist said that she regretted breaking up with Arsenov, worried about Zbruev. She learned to believe in God, remembering the words of Fyodor Dostoevsky that if the Most High does not exist, he should be invented.

The tragic page of Malyavina's biography in 2020 became part of the plot of the series “Intercessors” by Vladimir Kott. The legal procedure is built on real criminal cases described in the book of the famous lawyer of Soviet dissidents and human rights activist Dina Kaminskaya.

As the director said, this film is about the hope that justice will prevail and everyone will be rewarded according to their deeds. Justice, which Valentina Malyavina lacked.
